Why doesn't my account allow me to purchase a phone under instalments?

You can use device payments to buy a device, when you're:

Adding a line - you're eligible to use device payments based on your device finance limit.
Upgrading a device – you’re eligible to use device payments based on your device finance limit and when your device is 100% paid off, or is eligible for an annual upgrade or early upgrade.
