Shipping date on iphone 4s

So i just have one question. On my confirmation mail it says my iphone 4s will be delievered on 21st, but I think everyone's saying that there's a giltch, so i checked my order status. It says Expected Ship Date: 10/14/2011. Does that mean that it will be shipped on 14th or be delievered by 14th? just wondering ty.

It means that it will be shipped by that date. It may ship sooner and you may get it on or before the 14th.

Plus, the date on the order status should be more up to date than the confirmation e-mail. There are reports of some people's already shipping USPS, Verizon must be using them as well now (if the reports are true). I think we'll start hearing a lot more over the next couple of days. Remember that Verizon has primarily used FedEx in the past, and tomorrow is a normal day for them despite the holiday.

Just to add...in Feb VZW used both FedEx and UPS. It surprised many people because usually they do just use FedEx, but my phone was one of the ones shipped with UPS.

I belive that whoever has posted they received shipping through USPS is lieing or does not know whats going on possibly accesories they ordered it makes no sence why ony ONE preson received a shipping email. They also said it shipped on 10/7 I highly dought they would ship one phone early. Mine has not been updated from processing and i ordered at 12:55 PST

It makes perfect sense, so that people will complain that others are getting something before them. How dare they!
