Thread for iPhone 7+ preorders PAST 9/9 and estimated shipping/delivery dates AFTER 9/28

So, the other threads are nice to see how things are progressing for those who preordered on the first day (9/9). And its cool to see those people who are already getting their phones. :smileyhappy: But I feel like the rest of the us "latey late" orderers are getting lost in the discussions because we have a bit more of a wait. So, I wanted to create a discussion for the rest of us so that once the ball gets rolling for us, we can kind of see how things go in terms of changed dates hopefully for the better and maybe earlier shipping dates.

So, if anyone else is interested this space can be for people who preordered 7 pluses AFTER the first day and who are still in the processing stage and have delivery/shipping dates PAST the 9/28 (which seems to be the latest date for 9/9 orders) date. Anyone not ordering the plus but just the 7 is also welcome to post here, but I just know that the debacle with pluses seems to be a bit more a concern for some people so I wanted to have a space for people to share here. But anyone is welcome to post.

No I personally haven't heard of anyone getting a plus in store at either place. Tried myself yesterday at Verizon (knowing I wouldn't but juuuust in case).

This is my first time preordering a iPhone. I wasn't able to preorder on the 9th so I figured I try my luck on launch date at my local Verizon and Best Buy's but they only had limited qualities of the 7. No one had 7+ in any color and said that their wont be any for awhile.

When I finally got through, 12:15 PDT, I fairly easily ordered a new line with the above phone.

I then got an email back at 12:27 PDT saying that my order was on hold and that I'd have to call in.

I called in and they had to do a credit check because there were 18 lines on the account. The person I spoke with couldn't find my order so they had me order again.

At this point I actually had 2 orders for the same phone but only wanted one.

By the time I got all of that straightened out, I got an Order Confirmation email at 12:47 PDT.

Deliver By: 9/23/2016

When I click on "Check Your Order Status" I am taken to a page that has my preorder number and says:

Status: We received your order and it is in process.

Expected Ship Date: 9/23/2016

According to the email and the website, the "Deliver By" date and the "Expected Ship" date are the same.

No further emails or communication from Verizon. I live in Arizona and none of the dozen locations that I called on 9/9 received any 7 Plus iPhones in their stores.

Sold out at our local Verizon and Best Buy but silver and gold are available at a few BBs within an hour of here. I handled a jet black 7 yesterday and absolutely love the feel. It's not slippery and yet it's not rubbery either.

I also stopped in store just to see the phone and ask about availability, but was told they would not have the 7+ for a while. They also mentioned that if they do happen get phones, I can cancel my preorder and complete my upgrade in store instead. Crossing my fingers that I see an updated ship date this week.

I didn't know that I could get 650 for my old phone or I would have preordered at 3 am est. Instead I went into the local verizon store and preordered a jet black iphone 7+ 128gb. The lady told me that they should come in the next week (9/16) but didn't then she said today (9/19) But she received an email stating that they were pushed out to November. Sad. Anyway at least I can still use my current phone till then.

I didn't wake up to order mine but decided Friday morning that I wanted the 7+, however I made the mistake of waiting for hubby to decide if he was going to want one of the new iphones or if he was just going to upgrade to a 6 or 6s. I should have known better and just pre-ordered my phone on Friday morning because hubby decided that he didn't need the "latest and greatest". So instead of possibly already having my phone or having earlier ship date, I am now impatiently waiting for my status to change and my phone to arrive.

I really didn't have a preference on the color so I chose the matte black b/c it had the earliest ship date for the 128GB 7+ when I was looking at them. Although the ship date I got was later than the one I originally saw, I'm just hoping that I didn't make a mistake by ordering the matte black because they seem to be in higher demand.

Oh then that might be the reason. I ordered through verizon but hopefully the shipping dates here improve.

Responded to this thread a couple of days ago and honestly I'm thinking about just cancelling my order through Verizon and ordering through apple. If I go through apple I would get my iPhone 7+ 128gb rose gold between 10/12-10/8. Verizon is saying my order is expected to ship 10/26.

I originally have a shipped date by October 12. Once your credit card has been charged, shipping should follow soon. Hope you get your phone sooner.

Update to my original post, the ship date has now been removed from my order page. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing

When I placed my order online on 9/15, I opted to trade in an iPhone 6 I have that isn't being used. I knew that box had shipped, but when it was delivered to my office yesterday, I was really hoping that when I picked up the box, that it would be "heavier". It wasn't, so I'm back to checking my order status and visa account, way too often.

Nope, i check my email daily and bank acct. I ordered the iPhone 7 Plus 128 GB in Matte Black on 9/20/16 in evening and expected ship date is 10/12. I'm hoping a lot sooner. I'm wanting to have it before a cruise I go on Oct 3. lol

Originally I looked when the iPhone 7 was revealed to see if i was eligible for an upgrade, which at that time it told me that I would not be able to upgrade until October 29th. Come to the day that the iphones got released in stores October 16th. I look and it says that I was eligible on 9/14. So that is why i did not originally preorder the iPhone 7+ that I wanted.

I have done some looking around and it looks as if customers who had ordered the Jet Black iPhone 7+ have been getting confirmations that their phones are on the way when they originally had an expected ship date of late October into November. I keep checking my order status hoping that it will be sooner!

I ordered 7+ rose gold 128gb on the 9/11 but my expected shipping date is still 10/12!!! I'm trying to be patient but getting slightly annoyed that people who ordered much later than I am getting earlier ship dates..... Besides... if I was going to get my phone on Oct. I would have been elligible to pay $0 for trade in... sigh...

I ordered a 7plus rose gold 32gb and Matte Black 32gb on 9/9 10am. The delivery date was 9/28 for both. Now it's showing 10/5 for both. Probably because the black one. I've seen people getting the rose gold like mines already and they ordered after me!!! Next time I will know to place ALL separate orders. It's not fair they are holding mines back and shipping it together with the latest one.....

There does not seem to be any consistency with shipping dates. From first glance it appears there are folks who ordered after 9/9(same phone), that have a ship date prior to mine. My current iphone 6+ is seemingly falling apart.... In the last month the battery takes for Ever to charge and i now can only talk on speaker phone. Otherwise the person can not hear me. I swear verizon sends a "sabotage" signal to our phones when we are due for an upgrade!

I'm certain that you all should have ya'll phones by now. I ordered the Iphone 7 on 9/17 and estimate shipping is 10/17, but it shipped out yesterday and I will have it Monday.

What phone did you order? Some phones appear to be shipping much earlier, specifically the 256MB phones. The 128MB still seem to be shipping but I'm not sure if they are shipping ahead of schedule.

It's hard to say which is shipping faster between the 7 and 7+ since there are much fewer people on here that got the 7 than those who got the 7+. I have noticed that the 256GB is shipping faster than the 128GB. I got the iPhone 7 128GB JB and ordered on 9/9 and just got my tracking number this morning.
