Huh??? You're asking for someone to trade, but then you say you're not sure if you would??..
Sorry, SOLD my Droid X FOR an iphone.
I would trade my droid x for an iphone 4!
Sold my X on ebay for $400 with a desk charger.
sold my x and the box it rode in on for 325 on ebay.... tried craigslist and had offers of 200-250 plus having to meet....ebay 3 day listing started it atr 275... sure I will pay 30 bucks or so to ebay, but well worth it.....
Not me... Upgraded one of my lines on the 10'th to go to the IPhone 4. Tried my best to like it, but on the 16'th I went back in with the IPhone in it's box and returned it and back on my Droid X. Missed to much about it - the widgets, the notification bar, the fact that I can get multiple calendar alerts sent to me. Hope you like being locked into that interface {edited to comply with Terms of Service}
Verizon has a new trade in policy- I get the Iphone and can send back my Ally droid based phone and get $52 and my blackberry for $28. Call them and ask.

This is just my personal opinion, but those prices they give you are absolutely ridiculous. You can sell those same phones on Craigslist or eBay and get easily 3-4 times as much money. I got a quote for my perfect condition EnV3... $12. I'd rather take the time to create a post on Craigslist and meet someone to get $100 for it.
Best thing to do is sell it. I use both phones , Why don't you use the verizon trade in and trade the phone in and you'll get a gift card and put it towards the iPhone? Up to you.. But first you have to make up your mind and be sure you really want to get rid of the Droid X.
Cheers!

iPhone for life?
droidsw wrote:While the rest of the WORLD is moving into Android and iOS is rapidly sinking and will one day trail Android, Symbian AND Windows; you folks must know something the rest of the WORLD doesn't. However, I think it's the other way around. http://m.infoworld.com/d/mobile-technology/google-android-riding-high-top-global-smartphone-os-630
android OS actually passed iOS a year ago. and while i do agree and believe that it will continue to grow....i also believe that choice and options are good, and that the iphone may be a better option for many people (particularly if you already use mac or itunes for media). iOS isn't going anywhere soon. i prefer android, but hope to see winmo and iOS do well because the alternative is to end up with one OS to "choose" from, and it's never a good thing to be stuck with a monopoly.
I don't know about the "WORLD", most people I know either switched from Android to iOS, and those that already had iOS kept their iPhones
I don't care if the world moves to Android, I'm keep'n to my iPhone, I don't like any of the Symbian phones (they all look like Chinese knockoff phones to me), other than the Xbox Live support, I don't really care for Windows Mobile/Windows Phone, and as for Android, while I do miss some features of my old Eris (like it's wonderful navigation app), with all the speed and battery problems I have had with it (being there is no official task list, therefore no way to close running apps to save battery life or speed up the phone), while the iOS is missing great features that Adroid has, the iOS/iPhone is more practical IMO, I mean removable or not, if a phone battery can't last at least a full day, it's useless
No way would trade my Iphone for a Droid for the battery thing thats like comparing a jon boat to a yacht

That is a great comparison, especially for Apple users. It really plays into the stereotype!
Almost a month ago I moved from AT&T and my iPhone 3gs to Verizon and I had the chance to try a Droid Charge. After having the Charge for 10 days I exchanged it for an iPhone 4 32gb. I consider myself pretty tech savvy and I like playing around with gadgets. Now that I am back on iOS platform I find myself missing some of the flexibility, bigger screen, etc of the Charge. However iOS is simply polished. There are too many quirks and issues with Android which is obviously from the open-source nature of the OS.
I did find that I had to remove the battery several times. I had to restart at least once per day. And, the battery life is tough to deal with. I'm not sure how the battery in my iPhone 4 which is listed at 1420 ma, can perform so much better than the Charge at 1600 ma. I go to bed with my iPhone battery somewhere around 70% so far with no charging during the day. The Charge needed to be charged during the day so that I could use it in the evening if needed.
Other deciding factors which led me back to iPhone:
1. Quality of apps
2. Bluetooth connectivity - My iPhone can connect to multiple devices at once and doesn't lose connection on a dual phone BT headset if the other phone is in use. Since I have to carry 2 phones I have a 2 phone BT headset. I also have BT in the car.
3. My $100 Klipsch wired earphones with 3 buttons didn't work at all without app support, then still didn't work all that well with support. I had to change TTY settings to use the inline mic if I needed to make/receive a call while using the earphones.
4. The Droid doesn't attach to my iHome alarm radio - which I was okay with if it was the only issue.
5. A lot of work to truly sync music with iTunes.
6. Inability to arrange app icons and have them stay where I put them. I didn't mind arranging them. I just didn't like doing it every time I had to remove the battery.
Bottom line - I was disappointed because I really wanted to like Android. I hope that the platform continues to evolve, which I'm confident it will. I would like to try again in the near future when some of the kinks are worked out.
