All of my contacts are saved to gmail ie google......so when I try to set up the back up assistant it will not sync my contacts. Any ideas as to how to transfer them to the 4s??
log into gmail on a computer
go to contacts
check the ones you want to transfer
hit the more drop down
export
pick a format that works for your application
save somplace
open whatever apple apple you need
import
find out how to export your gmail contacts to an Apple Address Book format. import them using the address book. then you should be good. also, i don't know if facebook for iphone puts your friends ith phone numbers in your contacts like the android one did, but you can use this http://www.friendstogmail.com/ to export your facebook friends contacts to gmail.. and THEN export all these gmail contacts to address book.
