I upgraded to an iPhone 8 Plus in December & within the 1st week I had the Voicemail To Text feature turned completely off by a Verizon Representative because it was sending the most unintelligible, garbled & misspelled messages that made absolutely Zero Sense. Afterwards, Voicemail was working perfectly & I haven’t changed a single setting in my phone since then (other than turning off Bluetooth when out & about, but always turn it back on when I get home). About 6 weeks or so ago, I noticed that the Deleted & Blocked Voicemail Boxes entirely disappeared from the bottom of the Voicemail screen (& there were Voicemail Messages in each - I didn’t delete the Voicemail Boxes), & of course, that means I can’t access any of the messages that were in those boxes, including the Blocked Voicemails from an ex-relative that I might have need of referring back to when talking about him to my other family members. I talked to a Verizon Representative (via MyVerizon App Chat) about this issue & she was totally clueless about how to fix the issue, saying no one has ever reported this problem to her, so she’s not knowledgeable about how to fix it (I really appreciated her honesty & not wasting my time with BS suggestions), & she said she would escalate the issue to an Advanced Technical Department & I should hear back from them within the week. I haven’t heard hide nor hair from anyone at Verizon concerning this issue from an Escalation/Advanced Technical Department. Short of performing a Network Reset, which would restore the phone to Factory Settings (something I don’t want to do & don want to have to go through the hassle of trying to set my Settings b the way I want them), is there some way to restore those 2 Voicemail Boxes to my phone & can you tell me how/why these Voicemail Boxes disappeared in the first place so I can avoid this happening again in future? I appreciate any & all help in this matter. Thank you.
