Mine is showing a delivery date of 9/28/16 for a 256 GB jet black model

Mine originally showed 9/16. When I received my email, it said 9/28. Ordered black 32gb 7 plus at 12:15 pst as soon as it came up.
Mine said "deliver by 9/28" Ordered flat black 128 G 7Plus. Ordered it around 10:00AM EST.
I guess my question would be- would it just be better to wait in line at the store to get it on the 16th?
The only time I purchased a phone and stood in line was for the iPhone 4s. It was the day after launch day and there were 4 people ahead of me at the Apple store. I say go for it.
Mine did the same thing. Ordered the Rose Gold in 128GB at 3:24am EST. I sure hope that this changes, however if not I suppose another week won't be a deal breaker. :smileysad:
This may be a dumb question, but is it really arriving on the day it says it is? Mine says "deliver by the 16th" - But all the promos/ads say that they begin shipping on the 16th? Which is it?
deliver on 16th. The shipper will hold the phone and only release it for delivery on the 16th.
I was finally able to get in @ 2:13a CST. Ordered a 7 Plus 128GB in Jet Black. Deliver by date is 9/23/16.
I ordered the 128 black 7 plus at 4am and my email confirmation says deliver by 9/23.
on the apple site most phones say shipping in 2-3 weeks or delivers Sept 27-29. The glossy jet black ones say shipping November.
That's funny, I finally was allowed on by Verizon at 13 minutes after the hour... As i was placing the order it said September 16th, but now my Order Confirmation says September 28th. What gives? I had to be one of the first in line! Seriously!

Ordered at :10 past the hour when the site finally let me process my upgrade. Delivery date of 9/23. Not terrible, I remember the 6 and 6 plus pre-orders, ten minutes past the hour meant you were waiting a couple months.
This may be a glimmer of hope for us who ordered 256gb Jet Black in my opinion it seems Verizon is either unsure of how many Jet Blacks units they are suppose to receive from Apple and are giving themselves a cushion just in case or are reserving the small units they got for corporate stores! I don't think this model could get pushed back so far so quick but who knows this was the worst iPhone pre order I have ever done with Verizon so far though but it's still early so time will tell...
So there still may be a chance they get more units than expected before launch day to fill the Jet Black 256 orders I hope!
Jet Black is definitely this years unicorn and it also seems everyone will be walking around with a shiny black phone with two cameras too lol

I ordered the 7 plus 128 GB Jet Black around 9am EST. The website said delivery of 10/5 but the email with my order confirmation has 11/16. Oh well, hope I get it sooner. If not, maybe I'll try in the store. I couldnot let the $650 credit for my iphone 6 16GB trade in go to waste. That's just too good of an offer.
my delivery shipping date is November 16, for the jet black iphone 7 plus. And i ordered it over the phone at 8 this morning.
Yea I Ordered mine literally 10 minutes after the pre order time. And I got 09/28/16 for my ship by date. Still processing on my order page.
mines says the same thing brother .. for which reason , i don't know why i have 2 different dates saying i will get it on october 5 and the other on the 26th
I wonder if already preordered all ready, if you can go to verizon and still wait on launch day ?
Thats what I was thinking. Maybe we could go to a Verizon store that day see if we can just get it that day as well.

According to a Verizon rep if you do find one at a Verizon store on launch day or soon after they could try and cancel your pre order depending on what stage it is in so you may purchase the phone you found but I have not confirmed this...

I am wondering the same thing. My email says delivery by 10/5, but "Check order status" says 11/2. The order page on My Verizon also says 10/5. Big difference!

I ordered the 7 plus in rose gold 32 gb 3 mins after pre order started (3:03 am eastern) and my ship date is showing 9/28 ....
After waking up at 3am EST, I ordered by 3:20am EST after their website finally was set for preorder. I got a Rose Gold 128gb because it then showed a ship-by date of 9/16 whereas the 256GB model showed a date of 9/28. I wanted my phone on release day without having to go thru all the hassle of going to a store, waiting in line and them not having the color and model I wanted, which is why I set my alarm to get up in the middle of the night on Friday. This.happened in the past on other Release days, wait in line at store for hours, get to the top of the line and them not have the model I wanted.
Now, here's the funny part. The order confirmation email I got by 3:24am on Friday has a link to click to check on order status..it was originally 9/16...then changed to 9/28 by midday on Friday. BUT if I check the status of my order on the website, it says 9/16. SO I sure hope that's the real Ship-by date. Otherwise I'll NEVER pre-order again and will just try my luck at the store on release day.
yup..same here. Different ship-by dates on the check status of your order link in the confirmation email and the Order Status page on the website.
I ordered mine through Verizon after I got denied from the iPhone Upgrade program (even though I have good credit :smileysad:). My order was completed at 3:30am EDT for an iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Jet Black. My deliver by date is showing 10/12 :smileysad:. I should have went to Verizon first!
Mine is also same case. I spoke with rep today and he says, there are delays and I would receive on 9/28.
Checking in with my story as well. Stayed up until launch (1:00AM MST). As soon as the site went live I pre-ordered the iPhone 7 Plus 32GB Black (matte not jet). I took a screenshot of my order page which showed 09/16 as when the phone would arrive. When I got my confirmation email (at 1:01AM) it showed 09/28 as my delivery date. I'm going to be out of the country during that time and won't be back by then. Had I had known that Verizon would be pushing people back without warning I would have pre-ordered from Apple or Best Buy.
It showed me 09/16 throughout the entire checkout process and the finalize page.
Now I get 09/28.

Ordered at 2:13AM CST on the 9th and my delivery date is showing as 9/28/16. I should add I'm encouraged by all the reports of the delivery dates being 9/28/16. I'm hoping that's a default date that will update as they start shipping. Which I would expect to see those status changing later tonight or tomorrow at the latest if we have any hope of getting them on 9/16/16.

It takes time for an order to process. You may have ordered at a certain time but plenty of people before you so time was adjusted. Have someone be at the address to accept the package otherwise it will be sent back. And by the way that screenshot doesn't proof YOU actually ordered it. It looks generic.
Ordered 128gb Rose Gold Plus at 12:35 PST on 9/9. I got a 9/16 deliver date. Even though my confirmation email says 9/16, the link in the email to check status says 9/28. I'm so confused. Card has not yet been charged (It's now 9/13 and still nothing). When I log in directly through the website and view orders that way, it says 9/16, so I'm literally getting 2 different dates from Verizon. I emailed them on Facebook and they said "I took a look at your order and I am showing an expected ship date of 9/16/16. As soon as the device ships out, you'll receive another email with tracking details. Please let us know if you have any additional questions." I just don't know what to think at this point.

I have the same issue with the two dates (9/16 and 9/28). Unfortunately, I just spoke to a rep and they said "there is an updated shipping schedule - this is now scheduled for September 28 due to the volume. You will have the track # send to you once it is ready to leave the facility. My apologies for this."

Adding mine: I ordered iPhone 7 plus 128 GB matte black at 3:15 AM EST - Estimated delivery by 9/23 when I started and that has not changed.
It's still early - I think if they will be delivered early we could have up until late wednesday to find out.
Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus 128gb. Ordered 9/9 with ship date of 9/23. Spoke to Verizon customer service rep and they told me that no one who ordered past 3:30am EST got the 9/16 delivery date, however I have a confirmation email time stamped at 3:15am EST.
Ordered mine around 7:30 am 9/9 and my status shows 9/16 delivery date so the time ordered makes no difference I think.
Money has come out of my account so I would think all is good.
