My matte black 256g plus has shipped! Finally have tracking number! I consider myself lucky at my original shop by date was 10/5 :smileyhappy: I chose the matte black and 256 because that was the fastest ship by date there was when I ordered on 9/16. Waited at the store that morning because the day before an employee told me I would be able to get one if I was there first thing
Well after almost a week where it was blank it has now come back and is still showing the original date. That kind of sucks, but at least it's showing something now.
Been hovering around for the last three weeks. I figured I'd add mine to the list - maybe it'll make mine ship faster ;D

I really hope I see a reason to keep this order - I hate to say it, but do not plan on waiting until November, while going month to month with Verizon... If I was going to switch carriers, now would be the time.

Just a warning to those of you that are still waiting for your orders... Pray that they don't ship via UPS!!!!
I ordered 2 7 pluses on 9/9 at around 9 am. One gold, 128GB and one silver, 128GB. The gold shipped on 9/16, the silver on 9/18.
When I placed the orders, I told the operator on the phone several times what the address was and to be sure to include the suite number of my office. She even read it back 3 times (She also had to cancel the first order because she ordered the wrong color).
All through the tracking process on UPS.com, I saw that there was no address information available. Being concerned, I rechecked the order and sure enough, the suite number was missing. I immediately called UPS and they told me that the package was in their system, but he had no idea where it was going because there was no address info. He said, it was because Verizon had not yet uploaded the shipping form, but assured me there as no issue.
Monday comes, and I get an email from UPS stating a delivery exception- because the address was incorrect. I immediately called UPS because I knew BOTH orders had been taken at the same time so both would be incorrect. I got transferred to the mysterious "special iphone dept", where the rep took the correct information and told me no worries, it would affect delivery by a day for the gold, change for the silver.
Monday night, at 9:30, I get another exception email from UPS, stating that my gold phone was being returned to the sender because of the incorrect address. I immediately called UPS again, and got "sorry, nothing we can do."
I'll make this part as short as possible. I called UPS the next morning, and that began 5 days of torture. I was lied to, hung up on, and lead astray. Now, before you react, I was EXTREMELY nice on the phone with each agent, knowing full well that being nasty would get me nowhere.
I even called Verizon and spoke to a very helpful (at least I thought so) rep who tried to call UPS on my behalf and they denied her request to resend as well. Unfortunately, her promises to follow up and handle this issue herself were never followed through. I was promised a call on Friday, and a jump the line order because the error was on Verizon's part.
Fast Forward, after publicly posting on the UPS FB page about their awful service, I actually got some help. The local UPS office tried their best to help me, but lo and behold, after a call from UPS this morning telling me the package was being resent to me, I got a text from Verizon 2 hours later congratulating me that my new phone had been delivered.. to the warehouse in Ft Worth.
I was able to call yesterday and get another helpful agent, who was able to process a new order for me without having to wait for the original order to be received, since they had confirmed that it was coming back. Unfortunately, I was told by this agent, that a jump the line order was NOT possible, as it is reserved only for phone orders that are DOA. This was very disappointing, as the original error was clearly on the part of Verizon. So now, my expected ship date is 10/19, via FedEx. I am happy to be able to get a phone, but very disappointed in Verizon's willingness to help me get it sooner as it was their error originally that caused the headache.
oh geez! sorry to hear about that! Mine is also coming UPS but i have no suite number.

Just for the record, I forgot to mention in my original post, the Silver which was also labeled incorrectly, had the address changed and was delivered, even after UPS told me they were not allowed to change shipping addresses on iPhone orders.
This may have been mentioned in one of the threads on this site. They are long and I don't have time to search. I apologize if this is a repeat.
I originally ordered a 7Plus 256 in jet black. The delivery was just marked as "November". After thinking a lot I canceled that order and ordered the same but matte black last week on the 22nd. The delivery was marked as 2 - 3 weeks.
Since then I have been checking the stock at the two local Apple stores. They would have some but not the 256 black that I want. The stock fluctuates during the day. This morning something told me to check and dang they had it in stock. I logged into Apple's site to hold it for me but it was rejected as I already had a pending order for my phone number. I decided to gamble. I canceled my online order. I immediately went back to the Apple store site but now I had attempted too many logins so I was blocked for an hour. I told my boss I needed to take an early lunch. Luckily one of the two stores is 12 minutes from my office. I hauled tail there and made it. I got my 256 black 7Plus!
So DON'T give up checking the Apple Store's stock if you have one relatively close. Today was the first day that either local store had it in stock.

I ordered my 256 7plus in JB on 9/9 at 8:12am Central time here in Tennessee. Original ship date was 10/19. That changed yesterday when I got my tracking number. Looks like it originated in Memphis so I should have it tomorrow...Wednesday at the very latest.
If i decide to drive to an apple store first thing tomorrow morning and get the 7+ in store on the verizon payment plan, am i still eligible for Verizon's upgrade every year promo?
I ordered the Iphone 7+ 128GB in Matte Black on 9/9 a little after 9pm. Deliver by date 10/12. This will be my first ever iphone, so have been anxious for it to arrive.

I ordered mine the same time (3:20 est) as you did. Jet Black 128GB. I don't have a shipping notification yet. Did you receive one from Verizon? My verizon still shows ship date 10/5. Same as confirmation email.
I finally gave in a drive up to an Apple Store 2 and a half hours away and got an 7+ rose gold 256 gb!! So happy with it and so thankful I know longer have to keep checking order statuses every day!!
I got sick of Verizon's games. I cancelled my order. I was lucky and got a 7+ 256gb in black yesterday. I used a site called www.istocknow.com to see the stock at the apple stores. I heard all apple stores will be fully stocked on October 8th but you might get lucky and find one on that website. Although finding a Jet Black is probably unlikely. But give that site a shot, you might get lucky like me.
I kind of did the same. I was checking the two local Apple stores for the last week. They would show some stock for a while but later it was gone. My 256 black had a delivery in two or three weeks. I checked Apple yesterday morning and the store 12 minutes from my office showed it in stock. I took an early lunch and got the pup. But I have it easier as I was buying full price. I didn't have to worry about a trade or monthly payments. The 7 Plus sure is nice. Enjoy yours!
Ya, im in missouri visiting my wife's family and decided to keep an eye on the Apple Store in St. Louis while im out here because I noticed Atlanta hasn't got sh*t for 7+'s. So when I seen they had the 256 available in black, I immediately jumped on it. otherwise I was looking at mid october for my phone. :smileyhappy:

I know the JB is yielding low production numbers from Apple - High demand - blah blah blah, I get it.

I just used it. I cancelled my order here and I'm going to pick up my phone today. They had iPhones in black and in all sizes.

All three ways I was checking ALL now say October 5th!!! One week from now. Let's see if that's the case!
I'm feeling fortunate. I wasn't able to order until September 12th and then, the phone had a ship date of September 28th. However, later on it did get pushed back to an October 5th ship date.
Well, I just received it from FedEx yesterday (September 27th) and am up and running. I am excited because this is my very first iPhone. I switched from Android after having a brand new top of the line Android every year.
So far I'm liking it despite some frustration due to the learning curve.

I ordered the matte black , 128 gig and my order date is 11/23. I'm considering dropping the iPhone bit and Verizon all together.

Today when I checked my order status. The page was completely different. Pre order number is gone. It shows an different order number and no shipping date.
Hopefully this means movement on my phone. I don't want to wait until Nov!
Same here! Preorder number is gone and it is now listed under the order number, and shipping date has disappeared(although this is the second instance where shipping date has disappeared). Hopefully someone can give us some insight on what this means for us November shipment customers.
Say it's not so, we don't want to see you go. I definitely want to make sure that you receive your phone as soon as possible. What has you thinking about breaking up with Verizon?

Some hope for everyone that ordered later...
I put in my reorder on 9/25 after a nightmare of dealing with UPS for 10 days, 7 plus, 256 GB, Gold. Ship date was 10/19. Got the text last night that my order was being processed, email this morning that it has been shipped. I will (hopefully) receive it on Tuesday. This time I made sure to check that the address was indeed correct.
I ordered on 9/17 and delivery date was 10/19, but it's been shipped as of yesterday. I will receive it Monday. Yaay!!!!!!!

no not yet. I just have a notification alert every time I sign into my Verizon to check the status of my order. I read on here that with some people, when your preorder number is replace with an order number within a few hours your credit cards are charged. I was hoping that would be my case, but sadly no
they took my money on 9/16 with the same ship date and they have no answers...im tired of calling them honestly contemplated switching carriers
TAMOQU81 I have the same thing when I log into my account, but it's always been there ever since I placed an order. I believe they just add that so you know you have an order pending with them. They should be sending confirmation notices when your order ships.
retrosince1977 Did you place an order online or over the phone? I was told be a rep that if you placed an order online they usually charge the card at that time. But if you placed an order over the phone they don't charge until the order ships out. I placed mine over the phone and hasn't had my card charged yet.

Seems like the 128 GB are in higher demand whereas the 32 and 256 GB are shipping out ahead of schedule since they're more available right now. I hope they start shipping out the 128s soon, hoping to get my phone before going on a trip on 9/13.
I ordered online and it said that I wouldnt be charged but they charged my CC. Im upset because i ordered the matte black 32g and everyone at verizon states that i shouldve gotten an email if it was delayed prior to the ship date. ship date has come and gone without any communication from big red...
When did you order? That's a bummer, I would be pissed if that happened to me. Have you thought of canceling and picking up from an Apple store or Best Buy? I hear most of them have the 32 GBs in stock right now.

I did it in store and they didn't charge my CC, rep said when the charge hits my CC it will ship two days later so I'm just going to stop checking and just wait on the charge to hit. Sooooo done with all this I'm going through apole next preorder.

I just got back from phone shopping a few hours ago and yes it is so. I was expecting my phone by 10/04. It was a birthday gift. I am also going away next week and wanted it for my birthday Not 11/23. I found quite a few 7 plus phones in other carriers and way less then you guys. All I hear from Verizon is thanks for being a loyal costumer since 1997 and sorry , sorry, sorry. Not even a fee waive for a long time costumer. I'll put it this way, which ever comes first I'll crab. And I know I won't be Verizon. Unless my queen convinces me. And that I doubt. Other carriers have these phones. I'm not sure what you guys are doing..

My pre-ordered Jet Black 128GB iPhone 7 Plus shipped over the weekend (ordered 9/9 at 3:20am EST). Expected delivery is this Tuesday , 10/5! My original delivery said 10/26. Glad to know they are getting ahead of the orders! Can't wait!!
I ordered a 7 Plus by phone on 9/29 (was backordered for a 7 and cancelled that order to get a plus)... 32 gb Matte Black. Due to ship before 11/23.
I ordered an iPhone 7 Plus on 9/19/16 11:15am. Ship date is supposed to be 10/26/16. My issue is that on the Verizon Wireless site, it says you can order an iPhone 7 online and pick it up at the store in two hours. Why should anyone, anywhere get to order an iPhone 7 online and be able to pick it up in two hours while so many have iPhone 7 orders back ordered. Everyone that has an iPhone 7 back ordered should get there iPhone 7 before anyone else, anywhere else, under any circumstances. This seems like a major disservice, especially to long time loyal customers. How do you justify such an action???

I ordered a 128 GB jet black plus on 9/16 and per message received the shipping date will be 11/23!! This is really ridiculous. I'm very disappointed. Other carriers deliver the phone in only two weeks.

But I ordered the same phone THE DAY IT WENT ON SALE! On the 9th! Sure, not at midnight; but 5:30 AM PST aint exactly the end of the line, either.
And I haven't heard ANYTHING. No updates, what so ever. 11/16 is, and always has been, my ship date.
From what I've read, the JB 128GB 7 + is probably the most popular option, combined with the manufacturing difficulties Apple is experiencing, is making supply heavily outweighed by demand.
It IS frustrating. Especially when I was at the "cart", it showed a late September shipping date. I hit that purchase button? 11/16. Hasnt changed since.
I have to beleive its going to ship sooner than that - but I'm really starting to look elsewhere. I dont have an active long term contract with Verizon, it lapsed just in time to get a new iphone 7... Except I dont have a new Iphone 7...
So if I can find the same phone in a different finish elsewhere... why stay with Verizon?

My wife received her regular 7 about 20 days ahead of schedule. While the Plus seems to be a deeper backordered, i am hoping that my order which was placed by telephone on 9/29 will be a few weeks ahead of the current estimate of 11/23.
I had ordered my MB 32gb 7+ In Verizon store on 9/25 with shipping date of 11/09. I called Verizon CS and the CSR had told me he's been seeing them shipping out two weeks before stated shipping date. He has also told me that the stated shipping date is the LATEST they will send the phones out. I've seen people get them 20 days before shipping date.
