Where is my tracking number?

I ordered my iPhone Friday at 207am CST a few minutes after it became available. Got an email saying estimated ship date 24th. That is also what the order status page said. Well 24th is almost over and I have no tracking number. Have called three times and they assure me its going to be sent. Is anyone else dealing with this??

THE SAME EXACT THING HAS HAPPENED TO ME. I have spent over 2 hours on the phone with their clueless reps who have no idea what is going on. I ordered my phone at 3:22 am EST and expected ship date of today. NOTHING. card not charged, no tracking number.

One of them said that all orders from 9/20/13 3:01-8 am EST will be shipped 10/14.

According to articles online, they sold out at 3:28 am EST which means both of us got our orders in before they sold out.

Will take a serious look into other providers when this 2-year contract is up.

This is ridiculous! They need to communicate what is going on 100% not guesses. If I don't get it I'll be rethinking now. Don't appreciate lies. If I knew Verizon was going to treat me this way I would have bought through Apple.

Hopefully a rep can give us insight.

The rep will come on here and say "both of you should get it soon after your expected ship date!"

Just blind lies. In 2 years when my contract is up, I'm going straight through Apple and I will probably be with AT&T then...

Just called and was told probably by October 7th and I should be getting an

email about the delay soon. *****. Livid. Verizon was very shady. Don't put

on your website during sales 9/24 so people buy from you when its not sure.

"Thank you for your recent order. Due to the volume of iPhone orders received, your entire shipment will not be shipped as scheduled."

Translation: "Thank you for your $200. Because we are unprepared and can't fulfill orders, we have nothing to send you!"

"We anticipate the new shipping date to be 10/7/2013 and will keep you updated if this changes. You will receive a confirmation email when your order ships that will provide you with a tracking number for your package."

Translation: "Just like the first time, we are going to completely guess about when your phone will be shipped, lets just say 10/7/2013. If this changes, we will send you an email some time after the 7th. You will receive an email when your phone is shipped and it will say "Your order is being processed" and it will have no tracking number."

"We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you'd like to change or cancel your order you may call 1-866-338-7390 for assistance. We recognize that you have a choice in wireless service and thank you for choosing Verizon Wireless."

Translation: "If for some reason we caused you just a little bit of inconvenience, I guess we are sorry. If you need assistance please call 866-338-7390 and we will tell you that your order will be shipped on 9/24/2013 and we will also try and sell you every accessory we have. We recognize you have a choice in wireless service and after all of this, PLEASE DON'T SWITCH TO AT&T!!!!!"

Expected ship date still says 9/24. Verizon totally handled this situation

like a bunch of morons. First of all change it to 10/7 because its

misleading. Get your stories straight. Second of all I am still really

***** that people who ordered after me and ordered the exact same thing

got theirs. Is this how Verizons shows they care about customers?

Oddly enough I noticed my card was charged and my phone has been shipped. Regardless of the 10/7. So hopefully others start to see theirs ASAP!

I ordered my iPhone on the 20th as well and have yet to receive a FexEx tracking number and the system on Verizon is down. I'm usually a considerably patient person, but I was told that my phone was supposed to come in the first shipment (9/24) and I've chosen to accept the fact that it will come on the 7th, like the majority of Verizon customers. I've called everyday since the 24th to ask if they've received anything, and they say they've received none while I have friends on other carriers that actually did receive theirs on their estimated dates or on dates fairly close.

So, I would just appreciate if I wasn't being blatantly lied to by my local Verizon store and find out where my tracking number is. Is there anyone who might know something about getting a tracking number for FedEx so I can see if it was even shipped?

By the way, the order status on the Verizon website is down, (of course), so I can't use that. Any answers?

Has your card been charged? You won't get a shipping number till your card is charged. What time did you order? Got mine two days ago but ordered 5 minutes after sales started.

I filed a complaint on the BBB website. This is inexcusable for such a large company. I wonder how many credit cards have been maxed out by Verizon because the customer has no idea when it will be charged.

Why would anyones credit card get maxed out? Are they not responsible to

know that $X is coming out soon. Common sense says it's coming out don't

use that additional money. It's all about being responsible. Yes it's super

annoying that Verizon wasn't very upfront about this but if you got the

10.7 email just realize it'll be there 10/7. You might get a surprise and

see it coming early. If you stay all angry THE ENTIRE time you're really

wasting energy. They might give you a tiny credit. Big whoop.
