Why didn't i receive a confirmation email?

i ordered a iPhone 7+ in matte black on 9/9 and i haven't received any confirmation email but when i check my order status the expected ship date is 10/5. Ive also seen people who ordered their phones way after me are receiving them on release date, whats up with that?

Also is there anyway the phone would ship earlier or any way i can speed up the process?

We do apologize for the delay! Device ship dates are based off of the model, whether it is the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus, color and the amount of memory on the device. Colors and memory sizes that are more sought after will have later shipping dates in comparison to colors or sizes that aren't as sought after. I highly recommend keeping an eye on your order for any updates.
