The iPhone is an awesome device that gives you many options to manage your data usage. While there is not a way to disable data for each app individually you can disable the data all together if needed. To turn off data go to Settings>Network>Cellular Data>Off. This will not allow any data function on the phone at all. You can also use My Verizon to monitor your data usage to help stay within your allowance.
