Hope someone can shed some light on this. I recently had a Droid X screen fail after less then one year of service, I went through the process of trying to have it repaired by Motorolla. Long story short they not only would not repair it, they claimed it had a water sensor triggered. I checked the two external sensors and they were fine and it was not dropped in water. Not sure how the internal sensor would be triggered and not the others. ANYWAYS...I made the decision to no longer support a company that had such bad service (I did not have insurance through Verizon, never had to have it pre-smart phone, added it now!) and a cheaply made product.
I went with an iPhone 4 instead. I have other iProducts so it was an easy switch (even knowing the camera was not going to be an 8mp nor the screen size as large). Got the new phone and was able to get up an running fairly quickly.
Had some bad reception issues at locations where the DroidX worked fine in the past. Did some reading and figured it was the way I was holding the phone. I put a case as recommended to help with the antenna issue.
Here is the thing, I no longer have the same quality of cell service I had before (i.e. from my desk at work) (which I did with the Droid X, and at times calls drop for no apparent reason). Is there a setting or fix? Is this just what life is like with iPhone?
Thanks!
