I'm not too sure if I'm submitting the topic/discussion post properly, but I just want to get some clarification about some information about the pre-orders.
Basically, 2 days ago and roughly at 9/12 03:08 my order for my iPhone 6+ 64GB Gold (Full-Retail) was submitted with an ETA of 9/19. It is now 2 days later with no updates per the website content. I typically don't interact or participate in online discussions at last for VZW, but I have decided this time to do so. I have yet to contact customer care due I hate dealing with people over a line cause of the delivery if the information tends to be what some may call "inaccurate" with it being subjective and/or varying depending on the agent you speak with.
So I took it upon myself to contact the online chat support first to get some information with little to no results. I know for a fact and even VZW states they try to make the information relayed to us is as accurate as possible, but with no guarantee of a 100% perfect system. Therefore the chat representative said that there is no way that the email confirmation I received that dictates a 9/19 arrival date would be wrong. But as I said before the information relayed to us can vary depending on who you talk to. We all know that due the mass orders of the iPhones cause a delay in VZW billing and order track systems which sometimes results in us being affected by it also with incorrect information.
I just want to know if I or particularly any of us should be going based off the confirmation email received after placing the order with the delivery date, and also exactly why the order itself is still in a processing state after 2 says along with not being reported under my orders in my VZW account without having to do an alternate query using the order number and last name (which personally doesn't add up due to the last name doesn't really matter). So could anyone or any representative bring some clarity to this situation?
