iPhone SE 2020 Shutting Off

I just got an iPhone SE 2020 and I have had the phone for about 1 week. During that time the phone has automatically shutoff about 10 times requiring me to restart it each time. Has anyone else had this issue and can it be fixed? It seems to happen whenever I set it down. I am seriously considering returning this phone.
