I'm starting this thread to lead out on the Order status...

What is yours?

Here is what i was able to do:

Ordered iPhone X 256GB Silver

Logged into Verizon at 12:55am MDT (6 minutes before the phone was avialable to purchase).

I traded in my iPhone 7+ 256GB Jet Black.

I completed my order (oddly, it let me) in 5 minutes. My order was complete at 1:00am MDT.

I have a confirmed order for November 3rd. (no real ship date info yet).

Yes! Same! I thought i was going crazy,,,, i keep checking my email and order status to see if it was all a lie haha.... must have been a glitc... but a very crazy good one, hope this doesn’t cause issues if they catch on

Received official email at 1:03am MDT ... delivery to be made on November 3rd!

It looks like the Graphite 256GB is already pushed back to 11/15 !! not the one I got

Ordered the X/256GB/S.Gray

Hit the Verizon site at about the same time, give or take a minute. My confirmation came thru at 12:01 PDT.

No trade-in, paid the full phone cost.

Delivery date is showing 11/3, also. Calling Verizon to get some confirmation on this.

Read on another site that Verizon was allowing orders about 10 minutes early. Thanks, VZW!

I ordered iPhone X 256GB Space Gray, traded in my 7 plus 128 GB, and received my confirmation email at 1:58CST. Delivery Date of 11/3 in the email.

You'll be fine. I've been through this many times with Verizon. Sometimes it just takes a while to show up due to the heavy traffic. If you received a confirmation email then you should be good.

You should be ok on your order, it will eventually show up online. I'm betting their web-site is very busy...

Also, you'll receive it ON November 3rd, which means they will ship it 1-2 days before that date, Your bank account will not be charged until it ships

I had the same issue after ordering my Series 3 Apple Watch a couple weeks ago. As already said, if you have a confirmation, u should be good, but it doesn't hurt to give them a ring.

That's weird that it says ship date... nowhere on mine did I see that... only delivery date. Might want to double-check.

I got my confirmation email at 2:58 est. Says shipped by Nov 3. Nice of Verizon to let us order a few minutes early. :smileyhappy: I couldn’t get on Apple site until 15 min later. Ordered silver 256

256GB Space Gray email confirmation at 3:10 AM (EST) Deliver by 11/03/17. Glad I got it when I did, because when I checked a few minutes ago this model delivery date is now 12/01. Now time for bed.

Just got off the phone with a customer service rep (took nearly 20 minutes to get them on the line). She gave me assurance that, based on my order, I should be receiving the phone on 11/3! Feeling good, tired and time to sack out!

I asked a verizon rep that same question. She confirmed that the website saying "shipping date" and the "delivery date" are the same and, in my case, both are 11/3.

I tried My Verizon two minutes early and it was active. I should have ordered then but kept trying Apple Store which was locked up. I placed the order with Verizon at six minutes after and got the confirm email listing a deliver date of Nov. 3. 256GB Space Gray.

You do know order was at 12am not 1 am right so you ordered 55 min after

I ordered 256 at 11:56 PST, got email confirmation at 11:57. If it says ship date of 3 Nov, you will get it on release date.

I was on the site and refreshing from 1150 on. Verizon's preorder opened at 1157.

I ordered 2 256GB Space Gray. Got my confirmation email at 2:02am CST with a delivery date of Nov. 3. I suspect their order system knew exactly how many of each configuration they had so as long as you got a confirmation email saying Nov 3rd delivery you're probably OK. Once the inventory was exhausted your confirmation email probably shows a later date. I see on the Apple website they're quoting a 5-6 weeks delivery.

got on my verizon app at 3:07am got the Silver 256gb iphone x. Ship date is Nov. 3rd. I see some ppl in other threads tried apple's website and had issues. My vzw app was so smooth not one issue at all. Took 30 seconds maybe.

Awesome!!! I did the same thing in the eastern time zone. I got up at 2:47 am and login to my Verizon. At like 2:56am I ordered the phone, received my confirmation email and received the same Nov 3rd date for delivery. I thought I had to wait till 3am. Now I see others saying shipping is like 12/15/17. Crazy..... I got the silver 256 model.

I ordered the 256gb Space Gray on 10/27 at 3:11am EST and got my email confirmation at 3:15am with a shipped by date 11/10. I got up and log into my Verizon account at 2:50am, but it still said coming soon. I kept trying refresh but didn't let me order early like many of you were able to. And also got error messages a few times or saying try again. I was trying from my phone and my iPad, eventually got through on my iPad. But 11/10 is still not bad as it is in mid December now. But maybe I will get lucky and it comes earlier than that.

Same for me I ordered 2 silver 64GBs. First confirmation received at 2:58 second one received at 3:03. Both say DELIVER BY nov 3rd. I called for confirmation and everything is fine. Except a common hiccup with the shipping address being wrong. which they said to call back as soon as I get the tracking number and they can submit a form to instruct fedex to change the shipping address without delaying the package.

According to macrumors.com forum ,people are getting their status chaged to “preparing for ahipment” and tracking number and some that havnet yet seen their status chaged where able to go to UPS site and search through Reference number using their phone number and able to see their for preparing for shipment from china. I believe they ordered theirs through apple store. I ordered through verizon app my status still says pending

i ordered my through the Verizon app as well. Either way....I have ordered every iPhone and I have never seen it say coming from China. Mine always originates from either CA or TN.

Apple will send from China direct to customers. when you order from the carrier Apple will ship those to carrier warehouses and then carrier will ship to us. Last years 7 Plus and this years Apple Watch 3, I was billed on the Thursday prior, and they were overnighted, and I had them on release day.

Its interesting that people are starting to get their cards charged. They don't usually do that to until the very last minute prior to shipping....

As an added note you can check FedEx Insight... to see if they have created a label for you: www.fedex.com/us/fcl/pckgenvlp/insight or login to your FedEx ship manager account... I don't see one created for me yet.

They usually use FedEx, but if you have a shipment manager account for UPS you can find out the same things!

My card was charged earlier this morning. Which is kinda strange as in previous pre-orders I was never charged until a day or so before shipping. Interesting...

they simply removed ALL date related to my order status page! No ship or delivery time.... which is typical of them. They do that so people won't get mad... well, they create another problem! People get mad regardless! ha.... or get worried their order isn't being processed... ha ha ha.... be patient people... and ... as an added note.... there were a few people that got their Apple Watches a day early.... so some of us might get lucky.. ha.... not holding my breath.

I was just speaking to Verizon Wireless customer service and they told me a lot of their customers charge cards are being declined because the credit card companies think they may be fraudulent purchases due to the amount of the purchase. That happened to me since I ordered 2 iPhone X's. Verizon sent me an email telling me my card was declined. Fortunately the order was not canceled and I was able to quickly fix it by using a different credit card and the charge immediately got pre-approved from my credit card company. When I spoke to the Verizon rep she said it still looks like I'm on track for an 11/3 delivery. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Yes. When I check my order on My Verizon iPhone app it says "We're getting your order ready" and it does show my updated credit card. When I check the status by clicking the link in my confirmation email it does show a 11/3 delivery. When I check the status on the Verizon website it appears all dates have been removed. Someone else reported that as well. They wouldn't have charged my credit card if shipping was not imminent.

Verizon website says delivery date Nov 3 but he app says ”ship around Nov 3”....

I’ve been told 2 different things by customer service, one said it will deliver on the 3rd and the other says it will be shipped on the 3rd.

Most places including Verizon usually do a pre-authorization which checks to see if your credit card is any good. The charge will only become official when it ships. Since the phone doesn't "officially" go on sale until 11/3 they usually time the shipment so that it will be delivered on 11/3. That's what happens if you purchased directly from Apple. I suspect Verizon will do the same thing.

When you preorder the phone, it will arrive by release date. Every time I have pre-ordered...the phone would usually get to my local FedEx facility by Wed, Thu the latest and they hold it until the Fri it is released.

Verizon will most likely ship the phone Monday or Tuesday if you are showing the charge to your card. Your local FedEx will have it by Thu the latest, but they hold it until Friday.

My card got charged yesterday so I’m expecting an early ship date. Hopefully, tomorrow or Tuesday.

I was able to get into the Verizon iPhone X pre-order page 5 minutes early and get my November 3 date. I have had the best experience ordering from Verizon lately. Really been happy with the whole process.

So, we’re moving. FedEx picked up our order one hour ago, shipping next day delivery from PA but Fedex was instructed not deliver before 11/03. From my previous experience with Samsung S8 preorder, FedEx decided to ignore the instruction and delivered two days earlier, even with the sticker on the box clearly asked not to, so we’ll see
