iPhone X slow internet

My family recently switched from ATT to Verizon - at which time I purchase the iPhone X. I'm so unhappy and quite disappointed in my ability to access information on the internet. It doesn't matter if I'm on LTE or connected to WiFi - it's very sporadic. It's a lot of money for this phone - my old phone with ATT was so much better. Any ideas??  Thanks in advance!

We certainly want you to enjoy your Verizon Wireless experience and I'm here to help. Is the issue is occurring on Wi-Fi as well as the Verizon Wireless network, it sounds like a device related issue. When did the problem begin? Has your phone been exposed to any physical/water damage?   AyaniB_VZW

Thank you for your reply. I’ve had the problem ever since I’ve made the switch from ATT and purchased the new phone.  My phone has not had any exposure that you mentioned.
