iphone 4 will not power up

I just went to use my phone and it looked like it was off. I tried to turn on using power button and still nothing. Plugged into USB charge cable and still will not power up. I know it was full charge this morning because I was able to sync it at home with no issues. Has anyone else had this issue?

I've had this happen to me two times since owning the iphone in feb. What usually works for me is doing a hard rest which is holding both the sleep/power button and the home button at the same time till the apple logo appears on the screen.

Hopefully you have a backup saved to iTunes then plug up to iTunes hold off and home buttons till apple logo comes on then back off cotinue for 5 to 10 seconds release just the power button then restore from backup
