unlock iphone

I am abroad, I bought the phone in America. After 3 years, I did a factory reset and my phone could not activate without a US SIM card. I found such a sim card, an old verizon that had not worked for a long time, inserted it into the phone and activated it. Now my phone is verizon locked and won't work with other sims. What should I do? I can't get a working Verizon sim, my phone is locked.

Based on the IMEI shared, I've found this device is ineligible for unlocking. Only the original owner/purchaser would be able to unlock the device. I wish I had better news to share, but I checked the IMEI and found we cannot do an unlock at this time.

Gugulyk, I'm sorry you're dealing with a locked device. Is this a device associated with an active VZ account? Did you purchase it from VZ directly or a third-party website/person?

No, I didn't buy from Verizon. Before the Verizon SIM didn't work, my phone was a 4000 US Reseller Flex Policy and I needed any SIM.

I bought a new phone, I have a receipt. they gave me a verizon sim card in a repair service to help me. As far as I know, the SIM card was old, did not work and was in the box with the new phone.

when i insert a verizon sim card my phone is blocked and says that the sim card is not valid and i need to insert another sim card. The network symbol does not appear, the SIM card is disabled.
