We're here to help, Fesernick82. Although it may seem tempting, I wouldn't recommend trying the steps Shaybbe suggested since it may void your manufacturer's warranty. But I do have an alternate solution that's helped other customers reporting the WiFi button not working. Try resetting your Network Settings using the steps at http://vz.to/uLOEAI. Also, test the service without a case if you happen to have a protective cover on the phone that may be interfering with the antenna.

I got it to work. I did the hair dryer/refridgerator thing and now it works perfectly! Finally after almost a year...I found this on the Apple discussions about this problem. Here is what I found and believe it or not it worked. Good luck!
I found this video that solved the problem.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nj10bz5bI6A It involves deliberately making your phone overheat by putting a hair dryer on it near the top and waiting for a message saying the phone is too hot and must be shut down. Use a towel to turn your phone off, then put it in a plastic bag and put it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to cool off. I did this and the wifi worked fine the minute i turned the phone back on.
