I have recently begun paying for my own things as I turned 18 this past year. My family had left Verizon and I wasn't sure why because they were always so great and the service was awesome no matter where I was. My boyfriend and I saw the deal for the new iphone 15s and I switched over and added my line onto his account. We pay for our own plans and have been continuously charged more and more with each monthly payment, and no access to an itemized receipt, let alone access to speak to anyone with any ability to find information as to why we're being charged $405 dollars a month as opposed to what it was originally priced out to be (we paid $156 for 2 months which is what the price is supposed to be. and then randomly it went up to $260 and now to $405). We called to speak to a real representative (aka an actual person) and we're ok hold for over two hours. that's not an over exaggerated number, I will pull up the call log. By the time we were able to speak to someone, it was an overseas outsourced call, to someone who had no idea why my account was charged $80 more than my original bill, and couldn't get me any information after waiting another 45 minutes. Eventually she came back on and said they would be refunding our account the overcharge and the bill for the next payment period would be reversed back to the original price. Now, it's the next payment period and my bill is $405. Verizon, make it make sense.
