I am aware of the policies on unlocking. I purchased an iPhone 15 pro max on Oct. 23, 2023 through Best Buy. I activated the device within a day or so of purchasing it and used it for a couple days. I suddenly had to travel abroad for a family emergency and have been abroad for over 2 months. It’s been over 60 days since ACTIVATING. As I understand the policy, for devices purchased through a retailer (I.e. Best Buy) the 60 days are counted from date of activation. My issue is as follows:
At some point during the last two months, I’m not sure when, I accidentally deleted the eSIM profile from my new phone. So as it stands, the phone does not look as though it is activated. There’s no eSIM profile and it’s not connecting to any mobile network. It is connected to wifi.
I’ve read replies in other posts saying “ the device has to be on Verizon’s network for initial activation” I’m assuming this is because the initial activation involves registering the IMEI in Verizon databases. My device was already activated and registered on Verizon network at one point but is not currently so.
my question is in two parts
A) Can I activate it again while still outside the US? And if so, how? QR code? Manual entry of SM DP info?
B) Will it unlock itself Once activated or, if unable to activate abroad, can it still unlock itself even without a Verizon eSIM profile seeing as the 60 day waiting period is satisfied?
Specific answers would be appreciated. If additional info is needed please ask.
Note: I have not charged or turned the device on in the last two weeks or so, it’s been off since before the 60 day period was completed.

As I mentioned, I’m familiar with your policy and if you took the time to read my questions, this link doesn’t answer either of them. I appreciate your attempt but you seemed to have missed the point.

in addition, I turned the phone on and there’s no eSIM profile and no connectivity to mobile networks and it is still sim locked even though it was activated over 70 days ago. My account is currently suspended due to non payment but I will be making a payment in the next day or two as I’m currently abroad and need to make arrangements. Will it unlock after re activating my phone? Do the days it was suspected not count towards the 60 days?
