Do I need verizon cloud backup to transfer content to new phone or can I use Itunes sync & back up

Thank you for asking a great question. Having a back up is very important. I rely on it especially when I transfer phones. I'll be happy to help. Both back up programs are great. You can use either or, which ever you prefer is fine.
