My old iPhone 6+ stopped working 12/27 with only grayed out bars showing, but doesn't say No Service. (iPhone 6+ has not been a "bring your own device" option at Xfinity Mobile for some time, but has continued to work just fine.)
Verizon directly says it still supports the iPhone 6+, but flags my sim card as needing an update. (I input the Sim ID - ICCID via an online Verizon process.)
Are the Xfinity Mobile cards supplied to them by Verizon? (I'm assuming not having a direct Verizon account I cannot request a new updated sim card from Verizon.)
-- asking this here because Xfinity has been unresponsive --

Thanks for reaching out with such a great question. Let us first clarify some information. The iPhone 6+ will be activated on Xfinity Mobile? We can definately assist with troubleshooting activating a phone on Verizon services that would include checking storage to make sure you have the storage space for any updates as well as resetting network settings. The image is not displaying in the message we received.

Sorry about that image not showing up. The iPhone 6+ has been previously activated for Xfinity Mobile, and just stopped showing anything but grayed out bars and can no longer receive or make calls. The good news (hopefully) is that I did get through to an Xfinity Mobile person who said she can send an updated Sim card.
So Iโm going to hope that pans out!
