Everytime I talk on the phone my calls end up getting choppy

My calls get choppy and I have to hang up and when I call the person I'm talking to back it does it again. I have an iphone 12 how can I get this issue resolved. It happens when I'm home and away from home. Not on wifi. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for responding so quickly. This has been happening since last year End of summer 2022. At first it wouldn't happen ever call but in the last few months it's happening ever call. It happens at home and when I am away.
