How do I clear my voicemail even after I have deleted everything?

I deleted about half of my voicemail messages, and cleared out the cache of deleted messages, but it still won't allow new messages to be left.  I used to get a pop-up that warned me "Voicemail 92% full", or "100% full" but that doesn't show anymore.  How can I A) determine how much space is really available, and B) allow new messages to be left without deleting all that are currently saved?

Ah, figured out the problem! When I did *86 I realized I had 15 "new"

messages that were from a blocked caller. Since he caller was blocked the

messages weren't showing up on my voicemail screen. Cleared those out and

we're good to go!

Thank you!

25. There had previously been about 35 saved, deleted 10.

Basic voice mail lets you have 20 voice mails, not sure if they count ones under the saved section.

Voice Mail | Verizon Wireless

Right above where it says "page contents" you can view the different facts based on what type of voice mail service you get:

Basic, Basic Visual voice mail, premium visual voice mail and voice mail for iphone

According to the chart I should be able to have 40 message saved.  I don't want to lose my remaining messages but also would like to get new ones.  Any suggestions, Verizon?

Have you gone into the deleted messages on the voicemail section of the phone app and deleted them fully?

I want to make sure that you can quickly and easily delete voicemail messages, TWPS. To clarify, are you looking to delete voicemail messages from the "Deleted Messages" section of visual voicemail on an iPhone? If so, you can select "Deleted Messages" and then "Clear All" or to delete individual messages, swipe to the left over the message you want to delete and then select "Delete" to the right. For the manual process if needed, see this: http://spr.ly/6603EU45t Specially look at the "Message Retrieval" section for how to check your voicemail and the "Time Saving Tips" section for options like how to delete and other actions. I have an iPhone. You can delete the messages individually but

1 scroll to the bottom, you will see “blocked messages” and “deleted messages”.
2. tap on blocked and clear them out.  **** they will be moved to the “deleted messages” folder.

3. tap on “deleted messages” and clear them.

the “deleted messages” is a backup.

I appreciate all of the steps you have taken, 6jmp. Currently, if someone is directed to your voicemail, do they receive an error stating your inbox is full or are they able to leave a message? If they are able to leave a message, are you notified? You mentioned deleting some messages. Are those messages also deleted if you access your voicemail using *86?
