I have three phones on my Verizon Account. How do I assign one to my wife so I can add her as a parent in the Smart Family app?

My wife has never had a Verizon account. I am the account owner and have just purchased the phones and paid the bills, etc. now that our daughter is getting her phone, we both want to be able to use the smart family app. But how do I assign her phone to her account? She tried creating an account but it wouldnโ€™t let her link to the phone number she uses I assume because im the account owner. Is there a way way to do this?

Being able to use Smart Family to help monitor the kids is always a good idea. To help out with things, I want to clairfy a few details. Is your wife's device/phone number with Verizon for service? Is her number active on your account?
