IPhone 6 from Saudi Arabia

I am a former Verizon customer and closed my accounts before moving to Saudi Arabia as an expat. Although I'm returning to the US this summer I need to purchase new phones now (long story...). Will a Model A1586 or A1549 bought here in the Kingdom work on a NEW Verizon account?

It will be an unsupported device and Verizon will not activate either of them. If you put an already activated Verizon SIM in the phone I might work, but wil always show "unknown device" on your account. Additionally it will not be eligible for Bring your own month to month no contract monthly discounts, so you will end up paying more, same as if you got a new phone here essentially.
