IPhone ringer is not working

Can anyone tell me why my ringer on my Iphone is not working? It had been working and suddenly stopped. Thanks for any suggestions.

Is your toggle switch on mute? The switch right above the volume adjuster on the side

Check your mute button. Make sure it is off. It is above the volume up button.
