Loyal customer retention discounts

I am a single person who has been a loyal Verizon customer. I usually upgrade my Galaxy every 2-3 years and do the same with my watch. I don't understand why new customers, customers with 4 or more lines, etc. get better deals than us single people. My current plan is supposedly the lowest because my watch still has 6 more payments and then will be about $15 lower. Also, other carriers offer senior discounts but I've never seen that with Verizon. I don't even use very much of my data each month...why can't you do some type of statement credit or something in cases like this. There has to be something Verizon can do to help us. Give us the same deals that new customers get. If we can't get a $25 single line then give it to us for $45 with less data. Just having a better option for single people who are light users would make a difference. Why are there so many fees too?

At this point, I'm shopping around for deals since my total payoff is a covered amount by the other companies. I can't keep paying you and having your fees increasing.

When looking at the $25 plan, that will be for customers who are bringing their own phone to Verizon. In a situation where a customer is purchasing a new phone, this pricing will not apply. In addition, this pricing is for 4 lines of service. When bringing a phone to Verizon with one active line on the account, the plan cost will be $60 monthly.

It's important that you're getting the most out of your plan and we can definitely check for any available discounts. So we can better assist, we will be reaching out via Private Message.

I feel your pain because like yourself, it's just me and my one line, so it does seem unfair that a household wanting 4 or more separate lines gets that much of a price break. But if you don't use much data, what about switching to prepaid? The 15 gig prepaid plan isn't that expensive especially if you're on auto-pay and it's been enough for me. The only things to note are:

1) If you don't use auto-pay, need to absolutely make sure you pay for the next month's service on time, otherwise you'll get cancelled and will lose your phone number/account access/etc.

2) Prepaid customers are deprioritized, so don't get as much access to 5G and overall data speeds are slower if the network is congested. But based on several recent threads from postpaid customers noticing their 5G light has shut off lately, 5G is harder to come by for all of us?

3) Prepaid customers who port out will not qualify for "win back" status if you decide to return to Verizon in a short period of time and your old prepaid account is gone forever...you'd have to get a new prepaid account to start back up on prepaid.

BTW I think Verizon does have a 55+ discount plan, but it's only in Florida. If it's any consolation, I fell for the 55+ discount plan ads from a certain competitor and I swear they must be putting you on "Old and Slow Service" if you sign up with that discount! At least that's how my experience turned out to be, so I came back to Verizon after just a few days because "it's better over here" (sorry, Pink Logo Place, not you).
