My phone remains in SOS after porting

I tried switching from straight talk to Verizon and for more than 48 hours my phone is in SOS mode. This has affected my school work as I need it to sign into my school portal. I feel really terrible about this.

Contact Straight Talk first to make sure they aren't holding your number for some reason.  If they've released the number and your transfer PIN worked for porting to Verizon, then the problem is with Verizon somehow and their Porting Department can be reached at 888-844-7095.

There are a number of things required to port successfully: your phone needs to be unlocked, there has to be a valid transfer PIN, and a new SIM or eSIM must be installed.

Hello, ea07407. Help is here as we want you to have working service. Please tell me more. Did you complete a port in with your number from Straight Talk to Verizon? Is this for a prepaid account?
