Have same problem many others are experiencing. iPhone 13 Pro goes into SOS mode. As we’ve had a lot of snow and cold lately, we haven’t been out much so I can’t tell you if it doesn’t work elsewhere but this is definitely happening at home (zip code 48837) with two different iPhones. Mine is iOS Version 17.2.1. Husband has iPhone 12 mini, also on iOS Version 17.2.1. Can “trick” it back on temporarily by going in and out of airplane mode but it doesn’t last. Please help.

Hello, Doe5, I'm sorry to hear you're running into an issue with your phone showing the SOS indicator. When did this start happening? Does it happen both indoors and out? Can you please share your zip code so we can take a closer look at your location?

This started so we noticed it only a few days ago. I believe it’s both inside and out although because of the weather, I haven’t gone out a lot. Zip code I shared in the initial message but it’s 48837. There has been no change in phones or SIM cards.

Hello, Doe5. Thank you so much for this info. Typically, when you see SOS on the device, it means the eSIM or SIM Card isn't connecting to the network. Have you attempted to restart the device?

Thank you. We're not showing any network outages in your area that would explain the problems you're having. What troubleshooting have you already tried on your devices?
