Tjumper, thrilled you were able to switch over to us. Sorry that you're running into some trouble with your iPhone, we can do some troubleshooting and see what's up. To start with, are you able to make use of texting and data on your phone (outside of Wi-Fi)? How about making calls?

Tjumper, we appreciate the information. Please try calling the port center to check your port status by calling this number: 888.844.7095. Please let us know what the status is.

Thanks for letting me know, I'm glad those services are working for you. Did you port your number to Verizon? If so, when did you port your number?

We appreciate the clarification. Did you receive a text message confirmation that the port was completed? What happens when someone tries to call you?

I did the port in the store of version and it ported over and all I checked my cellular on my phone and it says version my phone is on my account I also called the other night with a different issue I was having with not getting verification text. And the support guy put in a ticket for that to be fixed because all the trouble shooting we did didn’t fix the issue so I’m wondering if that would be an issue from that.

@Tjumper, check your settings on your iPhone to make sure SMS texts are turned on, otherwise your phone will only get texts from iMessages. There's a good video up on YouTube from someone named Trevor if you search YouTube for "fix not getting 2FA texts". You also want to check your Block settings and make sure "short code" numbers aren't in there.
BTW, T-Mobile uses a different process for voicemail, so if your voicemail isn't working either, add *86 to your contacts to get to VM.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
