Recently, within the last few weeks my cell reception service has been awful in the northern New Jersey area. I barely get service where I live now and remotely around the towns where I live also.

I rely on my phone every day and would be concerned too I were having any problems with it. Are you having trouble making calls, sending text or using data? Is this happening worse when you are inside versus outside?
