anyone know how to setup iphone as hotspot?

trying to set up one of my iphones as a hotspot and it says check carrier settings? login to my account and no option to do it.

Go into Settings, then Personal Hotspot. Turn it on. Use the password shown on the device you're wanting to connect.

• Shared Data Plan – 5GB
• Shared Data Plan – 10GB
• Above Unlimited*, Beyond Unlimited*, Go Unlimited*
• The Verizon Plan shared data plans (e.g. S, M, L)*
• The Verizon Plan*
• The MORE Everything Plan*
• Certain prepaid plans

* These plans are no longer available to add to our customer's accounts.
