Hey all, I’ve searched you tube etc for a fix but so far nothing has worked, I have a new iPhone 15 pro max and it doesn’t send text messages to folks that don’t have an iPhone. Thoughts or suggestions? I’ve restarted the phone, checked that the iMessage switch is on,
thank you

You need to have SMS messaging enabled for texting to work with Android phones.

After some looking around elsewhere on the internet, you can try a network reset on your phone and if that doesn't work, it's on Verizon's end. They got rid of the Contact Us link at the top of the forums for some reason...so I guess you'll have to try calling them or if you can get the live chat thing going somehow?

At the top of the page, Support > Contact Us and choose from the list of options. If all else fails, Support > Contact Us > Mobile > Troubleshooting > Skip This Step and you can chat, have VzW call you, or you can call them.

Thank you for the response, after much discussion between Verizon staff and tech support a solution has been found, when the new phone was set up it selected all my email addresses to send and receive from as well as the phone number, apparently you can only select one phone number and one email address to send and receive from.

Hello Cush88, we're sorry you're still having issues with your messages. What is the software version on your device? Have you checked to see if there are any updates available?

Thank you for responding, a solution was found, Verizon tech support found that on setup all four of my email addresses were checked, you can only have one phone number and one email address checked
