iPhone 7 Plus delivery date and options

On 9/19/16 I ordered an iPhone 7 Plus online through Verizon, with an expected delivery date of 11/9. There has been no news or movement in the date, and my order always says 'Processing'. Would it be quicker to cancel the order and order an unlocked one through Apple? Their website lists 3-4 weeks for delivery. I'm fearful that any day I'll get a notice from Verizon changing the delivery date to further away. Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions?

Some have, some haven't, I ordered my jet black, 128gb, 7 plus on 10/7, edd 11/30, no movement here, from another forum on mac rumors, they are shipping orders with an edd 10/26, so about two weeks early

It seems that they are more worried about getting the MB and JB phones out versus other colors. I've seen very few posts about people getting RG, Gold, and silver, mainly just the people who got right in on pre-order day. My ESD is 10/19 (hasn't changed since order date) and it's so close, but it ***** when you see other customers, and mainly MB, JB iphones getting sent out right away.

My order of a MB on 9/19 is still not in, and still 11/09 expected delivery...

It seems that way on Mac Rumors, I've seen nothing but MB going out, I think it depends on order date, but it doesn't seem like verizon has an actual que when it comes to shipping. There have been people who ordered the same day as me and got their phones earlier. When I talked to a rep she made it sound like my phone was chilling in the warehouse waiting for the 10/19 date. Hopefully you won't have to wait much longer, it is just an estimate so you might get it sooner.

Mb does seem to be moving faster, canceled my jb order today and placed another order for a 256gb, 7 plus, mb, with a new edd of 11/9

I don't get why you would get a delivery date the same as mine ordering it three weeks after me, how does that make sense? I ordered the MB 128gb 7 plus.

What is the point of the order status page? It gives no valuable information. It says 'Please check later' and 'Processing' What does that mean? Did my order get submitted? Has the inventory been secured? Are they building it? Shipping it? Is action needed from me? The lack of communication makes me want to try alternative options.

I know right makes no sense, Verizon clearly isn't going in order, that's why I canceled and re-ordered because people ordering after me were getting earlier ship dates

I agree, I don't even check anymore, once I get an email or cc text, makes no sense to look

Something happened on my order. This morning Verizon charged my bank account for the upgrade fee and sales tax, and their website now says 'Your order is being processed, please check back later', instead of a delivery date. I'm cautiously optimistic!

Shancock467 My ship date is 10/19 also and yesterday talk to rep. who told me the same thing. My phone is in warehouse waiting to be shipped. told me i would get an email today. Nothing yet We"ll see have the Note 7, so time is an issue.

I just canceled everything, pay my last bill and I'm done, this is ridiculous, told me my order was canceled no email, no nothing, customer service reps don't know anything, I'll take my business elsewhere

If you ordered on 10/7 for a Jet Black model...you're probably going to be waiting a while.

10/7 is a bit late for placing the order. I placed mine for a Gold 7+ 128gb on 9/21 with a 11/02 edd....I've had no action so far after a month. The Jet Black is in far shorter supply than the gold and other colors. So if I had to guess, you probably wont be seeing anything happen with yours until first or second week of November at the earliest.

But then again... who really knows? 128gb seems to be the size in most demand, so if you ordered 32 or 256, maybe you'll get lucky and see something sooner. I wouldn't count on that though.

I ordered my 7 Plus, MB, 128GB on 10/10/2016. My ship by date was 12/7/2016. It shipped today (10/20/16) and will arrive on Monday (10/24/16)

Sounds like they are really catching up on supply. This is my first iPhone and so far I'm really enjoying it!
