will iphone x preorder ship sooner than expected delivery date?
my question too.. from what I've seen they will and are. quite a few peoples who had 12/1 as their date received their yesterday. I'm praying I receive mine soon it has the same date
okay cool! I didn't know what to do because for preordering I still though that the expected delivery date is a little far off.
I keep checking my status to make hopefully find some type of change . :smileyhappy:

I got both colors in the 256 gb storage.
I had an expected delivery date of 11/22 on Space Grey 64 gb....was notified a few days ago order was shipped 11/7 with a delivery date of today.....11/9.....on the UPS truck, and waiting for delivery..it seems that Verizon has indeed shortened their delivery dates..at least here in Cleveland, Ohio
When did you guys order yours? I placed mine on 11/04 and still showing a ship date of 12/6...

I placed mine on the 27th and got a 12/6 date. What model did you order. I got the space grey 256gb.

ordered a silver 256 on 11/4 and supposed to ship 12/6
Stilllllll patiently waiting. Edd 12/1 ordered on 11/3. Sat up until time for orders and it wouldn’t work for me. Hus had to order with his login later that day. Really bummed that I pre ordered and people can just walk in and buy one now and mine still isn’t coming until December. What’s the point in a pre order?
you have to be patient everyone that ordered their phones 10/27 haven't gotten our phones yet. i received shipping info on my phone today and i ordered it at 3:50 am on 10/27

QUIWOR19, getting your hands on that stellar device, is like waiting for your parents to wake up on Christmas morning to open your presents. Your ship date is an estimated ship date. It can ship earlier based on when the manufacturer sends the inventory to us.

October 27th afternoon order. 11/22 estimated ship date, money pulled from account Nov. 11th phone scheduled for delivery Nov.14th by 8 PM. Iphone X silver 64gb
ordered 11/9 with EDD of 12/6 (because I wasn't patient and got the iphone8 instead), ordered the silver 256gb, not holding my breath, but hopefully it'll ship before December. anyone that ordered around the time I did seen any movement?
I ordered the space gray 256 at 7am est on 10/27. It will be to me tomorrow.
I ordered silver 256 on 11/4 and have 12/6 ship date. I'll keep you posted if anything changes. I'm really curious what will happen but it seems like they are just now filling the pre-order ones. So, I'm not holding my breath for a miracle of it shipping in the next week or two...

It definitely looks like the 256gb models are taking longer to ship so I just hope my order goes through at this point. I have the s8+ right now so I'm not that pressed about getting it although it would be nice if it did so earlier than expected judging buy the recent preoders getting shipped sooner as well.
theyre definitely taking longer to ship. if you read through this most of the people that got their phones super early ordered the 64 gb but that's because the 256 gb is in such high demand
Thats because nobody really wants 64gb it's not enough storage for most people I think I've seen some 256gb models get shipped earlier as well but they were mostly silver models. I've only seen one space grey in the forums get shipped earlier. So the 256gb space grey model is definitely going to be taking the longest to get to people for sure.

Original ship date estimated @ 12/06. It just got updated to 12/01 @ 2:00 p.m. (pst) today.
I pre-ordered 10/28 and have a ship date of 12/1. Silver 256gb. I check almost everyday hoping to see that the ship date has changed...but honestly at this point I'm fine with 12/1 due to being out of town until 11/27 for Thanksgiving. God knows how long I'd have to wait if they try to deliver while I'm away and I miss FedEx/UPS and they send my device back. I think I'd actually cry.

ordered my 64GB in Space Gray on 11/3 and got email this morning that is being shipped and should have it on the 18th.
Y'all are lucky. Ordering the 64gb version definitely helps. It seems they are filling those orders a lot quicker.

That's awesome! I'm still trying to understand how these preorders work. Granted I'm aware of limited stock, color and size options, and area play a role. I ordered mine (256 space grey) on 10/27 at around 9a.m., and have been stuck in processing ever since. Hoping that the movement in yours will mean mine should be moving within the next week or so.
Kenbaileyiii, you make so very valid points. I'm here to shed some light on the pre-oder shipping process. Devices do ship on a first come first serve basis. However, depending on the demand of a specific model some devices may ship later or earlier than others. As you stated, a 64GB phone will more than likely ship before a 256GB phone, because the cost is more affordable and there is a lower demand for phones with less storage. Color impacts shipments as well, as a new or more unique color may have a higher demand. That means those devices will take a bit longer to ship out due to more orders being placed for that particular model. We work hard to ensure everyone that they will get their pre-order as soon as possible and in the order in which it was placed.
So update to my previous post a couple days ago....
I just logged in to see if there was any change in the shipping date and now I have no shipping date. I'm hoping that's a good thing rather than a bad thing and they're getting ready to ship it. But I'm just guessing....

That's good news when it disappeared from your app, it means it will ship soon but you have to check verizon website because they won't email the tracking at all, so it's going to be your own soon very excited for you both. I got mine Thursday and very happy still today with it, great phone for me, it will be for you as well.

Checked my order and it shipped today and has a scheduled delivery for Tuesday 11/21! Gahhhh I'm so exciteddddd!!!!!

Been following this post since I ordered my phone (Silver 256) on the 14th. When I ordered it, it said 12/06. Once I paid it said 12/13, which I found strange. A couple of days later I ordered one for my son (Space Gray 256) and my 12/13 date disappeared, I don't know what to think. I don't expect it to ship as early as some of you but this date disappearance is starting to bother me. Anybody has any idea what could that possibly mean? I'd appreciate any help understanding this. My shipping date also disappeared for a day, then was updated a day later saying that it was shipped and came with a tracking number.
If history repeats itself, it's possible that it's getting ready to ship and they're updating the system for a tracking number and EDD.

I just checked my local apple stores and one store has the 256 sg model available for verizon but they are over 2 hours away and I can't make that far of a drive today. I don't get how they are in stock when people are still waiting for preoders. That's funny yet irritating.
I had the same issue with my apple store, having 256gb silver and grey, but I waited for my phone and it paid off, no regrets waiting i enjoy my phone now and it kicks butt as far as how the phone is on the outside, it isn't too big and just right size for me, i will not upgrade until this phone become obsolete and they don't update anymore.
Seriously. After how all this has been handled and how Verizon responded to me when asking questions about my order, this will be the last time I ever purchase a phone from them that isn't in a store, in stock, that I can walk away with at that moment... From people getting their phones shipped to them before people who ordered the exact same phone earlier, to all of this... Forget it... Never doing this to myself again...

Finally received my shipping info. Ordered on 10/27 @ 9a.m. 256 SG. Had date of 12/6/2017. Received notification late on Friday evening that they were processing my order, then received details that if would be shipped by today (11/20).
well I hope im next in line! I ordered 10/30. so I just keep checking in hoping that it will send me some good news

Just received my 256gb SG. Original delivery date 12/6. Ordered 10/27 10 am. I still haven’t received Verizon’s confirmation email providing me my tracking number. I manually checked my order status and got that info.
When you say manually, what site?
Verizons order status page that they sent me from the original emailed order confirmation. I’m having trouble activating it though so I’m assuming I have to use the SIM card it came with and not the one from my iPhone 7.
Manuel check as in log into the site? Or is there another way?
I didn’t have to log into the site. I just went to VZW.com > support> order status: Then copy and pasted order number and last name there. That’s the only page that ever age me info. MyVerizon app did nothing, no e-mails, and my store rep never saw anything. This page gave me the order ship date and tracking number. Had to go to fedex.com to get the delivery date. It should have been delivered tomorrow, but this morning fedex told me it would be delivered today.

So because my Verizon account is messed up, for lack of a better term, i am able to track other peoples packages. Now what i mean by this is when i copy and paste my pre-order number and put my last name in the "check status" boxes for some reason when i click on the button it pops up some other person's order. I won't share what that order number is for privacy reasons, but that is MESSED UP VERIZON! What the heck?! The reason for this post is to bring awareness so hopefully they fix that bug, but to also say that i just did it and some person's order that was placed on 11/4/17 has been shipped and is on the way (yes i can see the tracking number and verify that a signature is required which leads me to believe that this is an iphone order). I have no way of knowing what storage capacity or color it is or even what model (could be an 8, 7 or X), but if it is an X then there is hope that they are starting to ship closer to my pre-order date 11/8/17.
Please fix this bug Verizon. I don't want to see others people's packages information. I want to see my package.....and have it say shipped! thank you and i apologize for the rant.

I hope you all get your x soon I enjoy mines very much since I got it Thursday, great phone no regrets on the money spent, right size to handle and with the otter protection that I got, it's not slippery when you handle it, so 42 dollars worth spent on the protection, screen also very good anti print and glare for 30 bucks not a single regret on spending for the max protection on this phone, so far haven't dropped yet, hopefully I never do, but the best protection is on the phone in case, good luck to all. Ordered the silver 256 gb and simply amazing for me. Also I was just waiting for the anniversary iphone and now that I have it I won't get anymore iphone until apple makes this phone obsolete. Staying with this a long time.

Gv74 I have cases and screen protectors ready for when my iPhone gets shipped. I'm not taking any chances with this iPhone like you said. Apple said the is going to be the new design for the next 10 years, u doubt it, but if they stick to their usual ways and only do minor upgrades then I'm gonna stick with this phone for awhile myself. I still have ship date of 12/13 and is still processing but I hope it gets shipped earlier than that. I agree that this phone is the right screen size. I can easily use it with one hand. I can't wait for mines. Why did I have to order the one that's most popular?! SMH..
