$200 Verizon reward card not activating

I cannot activate my $200 Verizon reward card after spending a lot of time with a chat rep and waiting on hold eternity for hours.  I am seriously reconsidering my choice to continue to use Verizon for any services because obviously corporate heads don't understand that people have numerous choices to select a internet/cell provider who can give better service and at a lower cost.  Verizon does not care about it's customers.

We're sorry to hear your rewards card is not activating, yrudolph. We want to ensure this is looked into right away. Please tell us more about this. What was the reward card for? Was this sent as a physical card or an e-Gift. Was this for cellular service or residential service? -Danielle
