I just found out the hard way that porting my phone numbers to a new plan doesn’t count as canceling my services. I was charged monthly (for an embarrassing number of months) for my Apple Watch after porting my all my devices (3 total) to a new company, Visible of all companies. How is this legal?

When you Port Out your number we do not disconnect, if we did then you can not port the numbers we do disconnect. We provide the Port Pin Transfer number for you to give to the new carrier you will also provide the numbers you want to port. If you have a number you are not porting you would need to call us to cancel and disconnect that line. This is the process to port out to any carrier.
