DVR For life -big fat lie

14 years a verizon customer, no loyalty, no discounts. More discounts and better pricing to new customers.

We have dvr free for life.

Now after our latest contract expired. Verizon refuses to honor the dvr free for life even though its states on our bill there is no expiration date. Forget speaking about this with any representative from Verizon. They say it won't be honored when you get another 2 year contract.

Buyer beware! Let the cord cutting begin. We have researched several streaming options and have found better pricing, no taxes, no equipment rental and cloud based dvr included. Verizon who?? What kind of company is willing to lose a customer of 14 years over a dvr credit!

Simple solution, contact your states attorney generals office since they love cases like that. Also make sure to post the issue at http://www.bbb.org and http://www.fcc.gov

and at social media sites. I have read at other help sites that the DVR for life issues had been resolved in the customers favor. Reddit and others have such articles.
