Today, I call Verizon to request an refund of $650.00 for overpaying my account. I was transferred to
the finance department and Ms. Wright was the representative that answered. I explained that I overpaid my account and requested a refund. Ms. Wright asked for the amount that I was requesting. Since I had the phone bill in front of me I was able to tell her the amount $652.57. She asked how did I pay. I informed her that all payment were made directly from my checking account to Verizon. She stated she needed to conduct an investigation on my account and she would call me back. Not understanding why she needed to investigate my “OVERPAYMENT”, I restated what she said to me. I gave her all my information outlined on the bill and everything she asked.
I asked again, “What are you investigating”? The fact that I pay before time or pay too much. She quickly wanted to rush me off the phone. I asked to speak to a supervisor because I could not understand the issue. She stated a supervisor would call me back in 4 hours. Fast forward.... supervisor Ms. Sizemore calls me back in about 20 minutes. I answer the phone. The lady says, I Ms. Sizemore calling you back from Verizon. Is your correct mailing adddress....
I asked what did you find after completing your investigation. She stated she didn’t know I had an issues
