I've been a long time Fios customer. Finally finished my contract with T-mobile and was excited to sign up for Mobile with Verizon since I've really enjoyed their internet service.
Signed up with Mobile on August 2. Was able to get loyal and Mobile+Home discount reflected in that order, $35 worth. However, that order didn't go through it seems, even though I picked up the new SIM card from that order at the store the same day.
August 3 I called about this and connected with someone to finally get the phone number ported, but they had no record of the order from the previous day. So had to put in a whole new order, but none of the discounts showed up.
I created my Mobile My Verizon account. I connected them with the One Verizon ID.
Tried joining for the discount, just get error message. Been on the phone and chat (constantly getting bumped from agent to agent) for hours. No luck.
I am so disappointed and now just feel lied to. Seems like a giant tech glitch or a giant bait & switch.
This whole experience from signing up with Mobile to trying to get the advertised and promised discounts has been the absolute worst experience I've ever had with Verizon. Previously I was always able to get any issue with Fios resolved quickly and easily.
None of the agents has been helpful and part of me just feels like quitting Verizon all together and starting over somewhere else.
