I called the Promotions department (866.818.0295) this morning. When you signed up for service, you had a choice between the $300 gift card or the Free Multi-Room DVR for 12 months. Since you chose the Free Multi-Room DVR, you will not be receiving the gift card. Sorry for the inconvenience, but you don't qualify to recieve this gift card. You received an email explaining the details of your order and the promotions, discounts and credits applied to your account.

I did not accept this as a solution. I have my original emails and am in disagreement with Verizon/Fios on this matter.

I have called the promotions department directly and will work with them over the phone to come to an acceptable solution to this matter.

an update... After I spoke to the promotions department and they suggested I call back in a week. It's been a week and a day so I called and was asked to call back within another week.

After another call fios decided to approve sending us the gift card. Our gift card arrived just the other day. The letter accompanying it mentions to use a PIN number to complete authorization, which came both via email and regular mail separate from the gift card. However after checking with my wife and checking my emails we never received the PIN. At this time I'll try calling fios AGAIN to see if they will give me the PIN over the phone or email me the PIN. I do expect it to get the PIN at some point and then I'll be able to put this matter to rest.

I'm glad to hear that your case is solved. I called Verizon and they told me they didn't see the $300 visa gift card on my account, and did I negotiate for it when I signed up? I distinctly remember that was the promotion when you sign up online and I double checked it when I submitted my order. The rep then transferred me to their online department who told me to call the rewards department the next day. I am trying not to be mad, but I went to dinner fuming. I really hope Verizon is not trying to bilk their customers out of a promotion they have tirelessly marketed.

I got the verizon connection 2 year contract. I waited till now and no sign of card, call'd the customer care - got forwarded to rewards section and he says i have already given discounts so not eligible - and i didnt understand the logic here - the offer said 2 year contract with bundle 3(internet/tv nd voice) and the price was $89.99 + 300(Amazon/Visa). I hope verizon will keep up their words.

Typically sent out only AFTER 3 months so sounds like the correct wait time. In fact wording like that is in the contract (if you got one) and in the online info about the offerings. There is also a webpage to check the status of your reward. http://www.verizon.com/rewards note the logon username and password are not your regular one.

I am having the same issue. The Verizon salesman came to my house and offered the $300 Gift Card as an incentive to sign up for a plan. After signing up, I waited two plus months, paid on time but no gift card. I recently contacted Verizon's customer service and they stated since I received a plan with discounts, I was not eligible for the gift card. This information was not presented to me during the sales presentation. I was specially offered the discounts and the gift card. I would never have signed up for their plan if I had been told that there was no gift card. Also, since I also have a 2 year contract with a penalty for canceling early, the gift card was my incentive for a two year commitment. I have been lied to and provided so much bad service I cannot believe Verizon would even operate a business in this manner. The issue with the gift card is just one of the many customer service issues I have had with Verizon. Everything from technicians arriving late on my installations to just bad customer service. I have been in contact with their customer service and elevated to a couple of supervisors over the last two weeks. If anyone lives in the Blue Bell Pa. area, please be careful with Verizon's salesman. They will say anything to sign you up.

Going through the same **bleep** right now. Got my service in August of 2013. Signed up online and clearly picked the triple play package which was supposed to get me $300 Visa or Amazon gift card. Waited and waited and now being told I am not eligible. I just checked my bill and I am not getting any additional discounts other than what was offered when I signed up and I am paying almost $30 extra for the DVR which is a joke. Today I filed a complaint with the BBB . I am disgusted that Verizon would treat their customers this way and now I am stuck in a contract for 2 friggin years that I can't get out of.

I was just told yesterday that I am not eligible for the $300 gift card Holiday Offer. I too was never told that I had a choice of a package deal or a $ 300 gift card, as a matter of fact Verizon insisted that they were going to save me money if I switched from Directv to Fios and that was before I got the mailer and agreed to switch. We were very happy with our dish
And never would have switched had it not been the gift card offer. Anyone else have any luck getting their card? Anyone leave Verizon?

Yep! Verizon Fios scammed me too! We signed up for the triple play in September 2013 with the understanding that we were to receive a $300. Visa Gift Card. Months past and we checked where the card was, and were reassured that it was on it's way. More time passed and we still did not receive our card. Spoke with several, and I mean several Verizon representatives and not one single person could explain why we did not receive our gift card and said it is clearly a mistake on Verizon's part. Spoke to a supervisor that was actually helping me, until one day he quit returning my calls and e mails. I wrote a letter to the company and was contacted by another representative who was baffled why I didn't receive the card, she was to get back to me, that never happened. Finally, I filed a complaint with BBB and was contacted by the escalations department. I was told by this representative that we opted out of the $300. Visa Gift Card because we chose to "accept a $10 a month savings for 24 months (a $240. savings) VS the $300. Visa Gift Card." Now, why would I turn down $300. gift card for $240. savings I asked? The representative quickly came back with the solution to credit my account $60. to make up the difference and called it a courtesy. I'm not sure why Verizon would do that if "I opted out of the gift card" and then call it a courtesy. I contacted BBB again and Verizon's response was MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS:

I don't know where they got the $20 credit a month for 24 months, I was told I opted for a $10 credit a month. See when people lie, they cannot keep their stories straight. I would love to be able to cancel my contract without paying the fee. I am angry I am stuck with them & paying my bill on time every single month to a company that scams their customers. Fios should be ashamed of themselves.

I ordered Triple Play back in February 2014 and left Time Warner Cable after 20 years of reliable perfect service with TWC (shocker, I know). I was very nervous about doing busniess with telephone company again, and of course, the install was my first clue things would be a mess. They actually called me a day before the install to tell me they couldn't find my address, to which I replied "you mean the one you sent all this promo material to, and that is visible from space via Google Maps, that addresss, you can't find that?" Anyway, here it is, September 2013, still no gift card. I have called the gift card deparment previously and received apologies, and promises it would be sent right way, etc. Complete lies. Once this contract is up, back to cable I go. I don't know why phone companies enjoy shooting themselves in the foot with poor promos. ATT made me so angry with their promo lies 20 years ago, that I made a lifetime oath to NEVER do business with them again and to speak out against them at every possible opportunty with everyone I know. Verizon is a hair away from the same "LIARS, never again" category. I know ifs the fault on their contracted provider, BUT, it is ulimately Verizon's poor oversight of the contract and program that is at fault. How convenient that they delete their own emails so quickly, the very emails that contain the info I need to work to attempt to attempt to resolve this yet again. Really, if you want Verizon, don't let a promo be the reason. The promo is clearly not something anyone can rely on. These complaints are on Verizon's own message boards, and STILL no credible solution. Clearly, they don't care. I am waiting also for the $300 gift card after signing up in May for Fios TV and Internet with an onsite agent at an apartment block who told me in person I would receive this gift card.

The website where you enter your order number and surname does not work and locks me out.

Thanks for the help. The support page doesn't seem to understand queries about the gift card, so it would be helpful if you could give the appropriate customer service number to call.

Signed up in october '14 have made endless calls w/ promises galore even moved and kept the service. Time warner is on the way I will be switching if I dont get resolution the reporting verizon to the BBB for fraud. has been nothing but hassle.

Could you please briefly give some specifics about the issue you are having?

I switched to verizon in Oct '14 was offered a $300 gift card worth $400 if used for a TV on Amazon. was supposed to get the card after 3 months later. After10's of calls lots of promises that it will arrive in a few weeks later and hours wasted still no card. I even moved and kept verizon service from one apartment to another just a few weeks ago as I recieved another promise that it was on the way. I am even paying for the connection of a second TV that I do not have yet becase I was going to use the card to make a TV purchase. Which I am owed a refund for. I am frustrated and am ready to switch back to time warner. had them for 10 years and no problems. this is false advertising. My suggestion to make this right is simply a $400 credit. dont bother sending the card, i purchase my TV on my own. otherwise this is chasing ghosts. If not, I am back to Time warner and call it a day.

I'm having the same issue. Ordered the Triple Play Fios bundle with a two year contract on August 6th of 2015 and was promised the $300 gift card. Agent informed me over the phone it would take three months to arrive and it never did. Called and was either put on hold or either promised that it was on the way. My account is in good standing and I've never been late with a bill. I'm getting really frustrated with the situation and I'm starting to regret switching to Verizon from TWC. I also tried checking the status using the Reward page but my login (order number and last name) doesn't work. Has anybody had luck using it?

Never got mine, even after complaining. Was asked to send "proof in writing" that this was offered to me as a promotion. As if I made the whole thing up.

Moving in 2.5 months and leaving Fios because of it. Back to Comcast for me. Although they can be frustrating to deal with as well, at least they never lied to me multiple times.
