I put a User ID that I used to be a fan of but know I still am a fan but I am not that much and I would like to change my primary user name. Can I change it any way by calling verizon or something?
I am sorry but there is no way to change the primary username on an account. If it were a subaccount, you could delete it and just created another. You can not do this to a primary though.
you can't get rid of it, but you can create an alias. An alias is a new email address, but it shares or points to the same mailbox as the original.
So you can do that by logging in at www.verizon.net and then at the top hover over account, hover over account profile, and then select residential.
Hello,
I need to have my primary user ID reset. I established this account in my name because my husband and I will soon separate. Because he was the one home when service was installed, he set up the primary user ID and that needs to be rectified immediately since he IS NOT on the account. Please tell me a way that in these circumstances it is possible to change it.

As indicated above and in several other posts on the forums, the primary user ID cannot be changed or modified in any way. If it is absolutely necessary that the primary user name be eliminated, then the account must be closed and re-opened in another name. Att that time the user name can be modified as desired.
