Price increase despite "2 year price lock"

So, two months after my FiOS triple play was installed, Verizon is raising the monthly fee for the DVR.  I signed a 2 year commitment and have to pay a sizable penalty if I cancel before then.  But Verizon stipulated on my contract "2 YEAR PRICE LOCK".  That is a direct quote.  Customer "service" now says only the bundle price was locked, not the equipment rates.  I say baloney.  You cannot commit a customer to a 2 year contract if the prices are not fixed.

Equipment rental is like renting an apartment, renting tools, renting office equipment, or renting a car… The company is NOT allowed to increase rental rate while under contract.
