When signing up for my new internet service I chose to opt out of the credit check by paying a $125 security deposit. The website was not accepting the original credit card I was trying to use, so support told me to try another card. The second card worked. When I checked my bank account a few days later, the $125 security deposit was processed on both cards.
I have tried calling Verizon support to get refunded the extra $125 deposit, but they don't know what to do. Has anyone experienced this before?
