I'm currently in Canada. I turned off data roaming but have voice roaming on. Because of this i can still text... while i understand I will not be charged for texts in Canada, I want to know if they people I text/text me will get charged.
totally dependent on their cell providers. They may not get charged for texts to the united states so when they use your American number it may be free. But they have to check with their providers.
