can't redeem gift card

I have tried to redeem a $50 gift card that was used as an enticement to keep my service after a $10 increase in my bill (which came without explanation). This incentive is borderline fraudulent, since hundreds of customers seem to be unable to redeem the so-called gift card as well. That said, how do I go about redeeming this? I've tried for months and either got error messages ({"STATUS":"ERROR", "DETAILS":"missing vz_jwt"}) or my account cannot be found (supposedly), even though I should have 2 cards in my account.

There are no messages in my private email inbox. This is an important issue because it may be a fraudulent gift card that Verizon's employees are offering. Please escalate this issue as soon as possible. It does appear that whoever responded to my message is just trying to keep negative messaging about Verizon off their customer-driven message boards, which I find kind of strange.
