cant send or recieve picture messages

my phone cannot send or recieve picture messages and i need help to send them

Is there a total data block on the phone? That will prevent picture messages from being sent and received.

If there is not a total data block, and text messages are not blocked, then check your signal - top left of your screen. You need EV signal to send/receive picture messages. If you are in an extended network, or only receiving the TX signal, picture messaging won't work.

Lastly, call customer service and be sure that your account is set up correctly for picture messaging.

I have been having the same problem. I take care of my grandbabies and could not send picture messages to their parents. My daughter says that you have to turn off wi-fi and turn on mobile data. I did this and it worked, but wi-fi is on automatically at home and so have to do this every time to send picture messages.
