won't accept zip code

Won't accept my zip code when paying online with visa .. gives error saying use correct zip code .. Had no issue till several months back when I change the billing address from one po box to another ... Had called several times or rather each month for several months and has not gotten any help on getting it fixed ... Went to Verizon store and they had same issue , told me a link to use that didn't ask for billing address zip for paying my pay as I go phone But CAN'T find that link adn I have tried MULTI MULTI links .... was reading another post on here where user said she was having same issue and had found out it had been going on for years with yall.... And to save time .. IT IS NOT MY BANK... for I use my card elsewhere where it ask for billing address and zip and have no issue, meaning that yes when I changed po box I CHANGE IT  on your web site AND WITH  MY BANK.... If there is a link on your site that DON'T ask for zip PLEASE share that link with me when and if you reply back please

Hey there! We're so sorry to hear about this experience with our payment system. When it asks for things like your ZIP code, it's asking for the ZIP code related to the information on file for that card. When we try to run your details for the payment, it checks with your banking institution to ensure the information is correct. What we recommend in this instance, is to get in touch with your Bank to report this issue so they can remedy this for you. *Kris

That is False as others having the same issues has told you .... I myself CALLED my bank BEFORE writing on here about it and believe I stated that in my post to you and to believe you would try and pass the buck on to the bank AFTER knowing that I had already talked to my bank and made sure the billing address on the card IS THE SAME as what is IN your system ...I was a computer tech / analyst for 30 years , it don't take just a few min. to research and correct this issue but no it is easier to make the user to believe it is their bank and get off the phone with them ,, But you know? I knew EVEN AFTER saying I had checked with my bank in my post to yall that you WOULD STILL try and pass the buck to the bank .. I had read on where I posted this that others had the same exact issue I do and that they found out that this has been going on for at least a year. It  started when I changed PO Box , with my bank and then with yall,  your system refused to take the update .. Please PUSH this issue up above you and your script reader to REAL Tech .... I know that is your job , read from a script and close call out for I worked a job like that with Dell and KNOW that there is a next level up it can go to that DON'T help people by reading from a script .  Push this issue to the next level PLEASE

If you are getting the error with your ZIP Code, we do recommend reaching out to your bank instituion to ensure the correct address is on file.

Please Please REREAD ALL 3 OF MY POSTS PLEASE..... This is UNREAL to be told multi times to go to my bank WHEN I HAD STATED ALL 3 TIMES that I HAD ALREADY talked to my Bank AND IT IS  CORRECT IN THEIR SYSTEM  ,  I have the recording of the call if you wish to hear it ....IT IS YOUR SYSTEM THAT IS WRONG AND WON'T ACCEPT THE CHANGE OF PO BOX.... Again this is why this issues is going on so long for it is easy to close out call by telling user  ( knowing that they had already talked to their bank) to go to their bank, THAN to push this issue up a level to tech that does more than read a script ..... so AGAIN I BEG you to push this issue up to the next level  of real techs ..

Again it wouldnt take zip code ... went to your link you sent and it sent me a sec temp  6 diget number but was asking for a 4 diget number so it wouldnt accept it ... went to chat and was informed payment was made and ticket was opened on thie issue of zip code.. we will  see come next month if  it will work or not .

It's not the banks! It's Verizon system. I can't believe that the customer support team is so lazy and unwilling to push the issue to have a tech team fix the problem. How dare you Verizon say that all your customers are having the same bank issue. All of them. That is an excuse that a money grubbing company will tell you. Verizon is already involved in a lawsuit, maybe we should start complaining about this issue as well. Since Verizon doesn't want to address the issue!! Lame! I can't even change my password so I can get into my account to set up my new phone I just received. And where I live there is no actual Verizon store. It's a store that sells only phones, and will not physically help you with anything else but selling you a phone. How does that help your customers? It doesn't!

They don't know where to find it in their service centers. It's not a knock on them. They're probably used to dealing with people that pay directly to them online/app or auto pay.  Here's the info you and anyone else with this issues needs.

I've been having the same issue. It is definitely not a bank issue. I use my card to pay and buy several things online and never have a problem. I've tried the zipcode that my bill goes to which is the same zipcode connected to my card. I've tried the only other zipcode my card has ever been connected to. Nothing works. This is definitely a Verizon problem. And the customer service is horrendous. They refuse to help you in the store. Everytime Ive called or chatted with someone everything they tell me to do asks for the zipcode. We haven't even been able to set up our account holder. This is ridiculous. And I think I'm just gonna have to switch carriers.

Have you tried updating your contact information in your My Verizon account, and removing the payment method, then putting the payment method back?

I am having the same issue since September when my credit card expired and they sent me a new one.  Have been on Verizon chat for 4 months anda have the same issue.  Went to CVS to buy a reload card and finally made a payment.  THERE HAS TO BE A FIX!!!
